Sam and Jeff are back back back again.  Jeff watched his icon, his legend, REBA in her new lifetime move the Hammer!  Sam went to the theater to see Barbie; she is tepid about how much she likes it.  Jeff had brunch with fabulous friends and former co-hosts Tiff and Connie.  Sam was playing the role of wonderful Aunt, hosting her niece and nephew for a sleepover.  Cam had a little fender bender BUT HE'S OK.

In 1991, in Chugiak, Alaska David Kerr opens a package sent to his son George Kerr.  What happened next was wild.  There was a bomb in the package.  David was killed instantly, and his wife Shelly Kerr suffered injuries from over 2000 projectiles.  BUT why was it sent to George?  Well, the year before three young men George and his two friends from the small Alaska community, became wrapped up in the tragic shooting of teenager Jeffrey Cain.  They were shooting heavy duty guns and Cain was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  George decided it was his duty to tell authorities how the shooting happen.  Then his friend Doug Gustafson, the trigger man was marched off to prison on a murder charge.  Doug's siblings did not believe he was guilty and held that grudge that drove them to take an unspeakable action. 

This week Jeff heads north of the border up to Hamilton, Ontario for a night away with his gal pal Laura!  They head to the beach, a vegan restaurant, and have the worst donut they have ever had.  Sam was partying it up at Sole beach club and did a little paddle boarding with her bestie B.  She read a fabulous book Maybe in another life by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

This episode is about the disappearance of Marlene Majors.  Marlene was a young, devoted mother of 2 children, Donald and LaLana.  She was in a tumultuous marriage to Bill Major.  One source of contention was his physical and sexual abuse of both children. Bill was also said to have encouraged Marlene to have a relationship Glen St. Hillaire, an employee of Bill's.  One night in 1980, Marlene was said to have left the house and never returned, disappearing into thin air.  After 20 years without solving her disappearance, her daughter Lalana now an adult went to work.  Did she get to the bottom of her disappearance? This week double trouble is back from a 4th of July break.  Jeff was watching some VC Andrews movies and they discuss why everyone is obsessed with the incestuous series.  Jeff was shufflin up some cards and has an upcoming date.  Sam took in loads of content, read a couple books and had a tarot card sesh.

Sorry friends, we decided to take the week off to mourn yet another imposition on our rights.  I love Colorado but where do they get all these homophobes from!

Abraham Lee Shakespeare was a casual laborer from the US who won a $30 million lottery jackpot in Florida, receiving $17 million in 2006. Shakespeare unfortunately trusted several people to help him with his money. One such acquaintance was Dorice Dee Dee Monroe, the two became close and Monroe claimed to be partner in a financial business that gave Dee Dee access to all of his money. She immediately withdrew 1 million dollars and bought several cars. She wasn't exactly a friend. In 2009, After he went missing Dee Dee became a suspect in his disappearance and that's where the investigation ended. In January 2010 his body was found buried under a concrete slab in the backyard of an acquaintance. Who's yard was it?

One of Sam's best Judy's from UB stops by for a chat about therapy, the alchemist, graduation and prom.  Jeff tried some new cheesecake made by his future husband at Genevieve's Bakery in Amherst.  FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!  Sam took a snooze at the new Jennifer Lawrence movie and Jeff learned the story of how hot Cheetos came about.

Catherine and Andrew Suh are siblings that grew up outside Chicago, Illinois. As children, their dad consistently favored Andrew. Evening threatening to burn Catherine alive. Their father died of stomach cancer with Andrew by his side. Catherine not so much. A year after their father died, their mother Elizabeth was savagely murdered at her laundromat. Catherine was later suspected of killing her to have control of her younger brother's inheritance because she was left out of the will. She used the inheritance to open a club with her then boyfriend, Robert O’Dubaine. Unfortunately, Robert met a terrible end being shot and murdered. Jeff spent his weekend in Lockport!  He did a reader's theater at Motherland Studio on Main Street on Friday to several ovations, Saturday was his 20-year high school reunion, and he had a blast, and Sunday was a golf outing with his pops!  Sam had a rehearsal dinner, a shower and then an actual wedding.  She was a social butterfly!
