After assaulting a police officer and getting a DUI, Malik is assured by his people that he is not going to jail. He later learns that the Sabers' owner is filling him with a false sense of security in order to kick him off the team. In order to avoid jail time and clean up his public image, Malik enters rehab on the advice of his mother, Tasha. Derwin is torn between his friendship with Malik and his reputation and image after he purposely misses Malik's press conference, their friendship may be broken.
