Fellowship

Spending intentional and quality time with someone is essential to building and maintaining a strong relationship, and no one shows us this better than Jesus.  He has given us a personal invitation to have him in our midst at anytime! 

"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matt 11:28

"Behold I stand at the door and knock if anyone hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him me." Rev 3:20

Like all fellowship, we need to put forth some effort in order to experience true intimacy.

tingPrayer:

Knowing God, His Word and His plan for us  in the vertical, will allow us to face our horizontal world as more than conquerors. Letting the Lord's prayer direct us to victory in prayer!

 What is prayer?  

Think about it this way, you pray to your family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers everyday. Prayer is communicating your heart, thoughts, pains and joys of life with someone else in hopes of gaining an answer or just a compassionate listening ear that you can trust.
 
Jesus has given us a compassionate listening ear, and He will love us through whatever we are going through. God desires to hear from us and not only hear from us but also respond. But one of the problems most of us have in communicating is that we quickly get impatient when it's time for Him to communicate to us or share things that He wants us to know, it soon becomes a one sided  conversation  and you think you're frustrated, guess how frustrating it is for God too. Though you may not be able to see Him with your naked eye He still is present and want to be intimate with you, and that comes from getting to know Him by dialogue with Him everyday.

   The Word: 

We will find that we can and will be inspired to be complete and fully equipped for every good work as we delve into the Living Word of God.  2 Tim 3:16-17 will help us to be all that we can be  as we continue to unfold our New Life With Christ.

Obedience:

This is one of the most important aspects of our walk with Christ.  Throughout the Bible, from Abraham to Jesus,  obedience  is required of God's children.   Let's take a glimpse at  what obedience can look like in our lives.

 Christ The Center:

Making Christ our Lord and Savior is so much more than that remarkable declaration we make with a repentant humility, which allowed Christ to take us out of the darkness of sin and open our eyes and hearts to His light of truth. 
When you make Jesus Lord and Savior, that should be a game changer for our life. We have decided to allow Jesus to live His life through us by surrendering our selfishness and letting Him be the center of our  affection and our way of life.

Testimony -  Being a new believer in Christ we have been given a powerful weapon, and that is our testimony! 

Our testimony is a two-edge sword; and both sides cuts our enemy deeply, one side is for praise and the other side is to set others free, by the words of our testimony.  

Our testimony creates praise because we once was lost but now we are found, blind, but now we see.  It creates an atmosphere of praise to the One who took us out of darkness and brought us into His marvelous light.   

Jesus becomes the gospel on our lips, which Rom 1:16 tells us that the it is the power of God unto salvation. That same gospel is woven in our testimony which is why our testimony is a powerful weapon! The moment we repented of our sin, accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and allowing His Kingdom to come in flow in our lives this powerful weapon was activated.
