On Ep 17, Ed had a tiring but good birthday week/weekend eating amazing fried chicken with Susie and her husband at Chimac Star in Koreatown, Los Angeles... where an unsuspecting person was playing on loop on their TVs.  Susie and Ed love the snow honey butter fried chicken and fries with the honey butter seasoning, as well as all the mala dishes they ate along with their complimentary soju.  Then Ed ate some delicious Thai food at the Silverlake House all the while taking a mental health break.  Susie has had a busy week going back to school shopping with her daughters as well as getting ready for her husband's 50th birthday including some minor work being done around the house that Susie's oldest daughter is not too happy about.  In other news, Kamala picks her VP candidate Tim Walz.  Susie and Ed weigh the options of Kamala vs Trump.  Imane Khelif is incorrectly being labelled as Trans and how that affects the larger discussion of how women of color especially are unfairly accused of having an "unfair advantage" when it comes to sports.  The difference in the public's views on Ilona Maher vs Imane Khelif in having a stronger body type for a woman. Susie and Ed are visited by a surprise visitor who abruptly end the podcast.
