  • I really do love you all.

Once again I try and sort out wtf I'm doing here. But this time, and perhaps this time only, I feel like I might be on to some of the answers...

    As if!!!

  • Hard to say, hard...

I was able to sneak one more recording in before February gave way to March.

That makes a grand total of two now.

    • Two for the month.

The worst part is that even with that minimalist approach to recordings, number two didn't even post in February... honestly wtf was I doing...???

Well maybe this one has something to say on that topic. I wouldn't count on it, but you never know.

  • It's time for me to save something.

    It's still February right?

I would hate to think I've let this thing get all the way through a month with zero activity. So to the eleventh hour we go, quite literally.

I get that I stall out some times. It can happen.

As such, I can live with the appropriate descriptions, of which many options, accurate options, are available including:

    Pointless.

    Apathetic.

    Neglected.

    Discarded.

    Abandoned.

    Meandering.

    Immature.

    Nonsensical.

    Trainwreck.

    Shameful.

... but no way will I be known as the guy who took an entire month off! Neaux whey.

Are you being serious here? This is the USA.

Unless there's a bill being generated for some insurance company's benefit because of my nervous breakdown or sex addiction or gambling compulsion or heroin habit - then absolutely no complete months will be taken off. Get back to work already!

Should, however, you be afflicted by any of the above conditions (or any of 37,218 more "conditions"), we'll gladly let you chillax in our destressing igloos for as many months as it takes to chillax your ass out... or until you've hit your policy limits. Cool? Cool.

Now sit back now while I get your meds ready...

  • It'll find me in a pair of Stegmanns.

Reputation management pops into my brain, AGAIN, early in this one. Hopefully for the last time.

I also get it on with:

    1. My favorite gum

    2. Shoes that almost fit

    3. Aging gracefully

    4. Being there for someone

    5. Something I'm forgetting

    6. Another thing I can't remember

    Hold on a second... um...

Checking that list for errors, the gum discussion was in my previous recording.

    I think.

I know that I recently talked about whether a fork you've used should be washed 100% of the time. Why? No idea now, but it's in either this one or the last one.

    My bad.

I should know this stuff better than I do. I mean I am the only one here so...

And I don't mean to jerk you around with a less than useless introduction to a podcast I highly recommend you forego interacting with entirely. It's just that sometimes it's going to happen, just like it has already happened and very much like what's happening now, because honestly, this part... writing these descriptions... it's all afterthought.

    And the worst kind.

It's the kind that I hardly give any actual thought to beyond entertaining myself as I type. I am strictly going through the motions.

In this specific recording's case, I started up just six minutes after I finished the previous one. As a result, they're kind of a blur fourteen hours later as I try and craft this descriptive introduction nobody cares about... but I digress.

Not that my terrible time management skills excuse my subpar results - they don't. There are many other excuses I could name, but not my time management skills. This is not their fault.

Their persistent presence and my unwillingness to do anything about them does, however, guarantee one thing.

That there will be another one of these discussions in our near future.

Assuming we're still talking at that point.

  • OMG it's 33:33!

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. And I'm apologizing.

I'm a donkey with these recordings whenever I reference runtimes. I agree. I wish I could say "I'll try and do better" - but let's face it, we're a long long long way away from seeing progress on this issue.

    • In fact, this recording might be my worst example yet.

There are all kinds of timing issue fails throughout this one.

Mostly because I forgot I'd already 420'd when my 3333 shown brightly leaving a regret filled need for additional meddling, which is never good... and then things got sloppier from there... know what I mean?

Well if not, then the middle 33 are just for thee!!!!

  • Where'd Sophia go now?

I know both my nanas come up in this one, but primarily because when they died, I skipped their funerals.

It's not very Hallmarky right from the start.

I then go on to ponder whether the "wanna help people" mood currently dominating my earth.v867-5309 lifetime is really so I can interact with people having instantly unguarded moments, caught as it were, in an unexpected spot to have a real conversation. Huh...huh... whaddya think? Not bad eh?

That's got me thought drifting even now so I'll certainly be coming back around to have another bite on this salad at some point.

Because I'm starting to believe that dynamic dialogue with another soul suit is the most well spent time one can experience in this universe, my universe has become a parade of bright candidates with whom to connect hoping for such a result. For me these are life's highest rewards.

Better than sex, now, without a doubt.

It may take a few or more decades. to finally be able to say that and mean it. At least for me it did.

But I was terrible here so I'm an outlier.

Again, you do you and do you all the time with conviction... hopefully while having a dynamic conversation with yourself!!! Feeling the need to derail things further...

I then revisit death to reflect upon the only funeral I haven't skipped out on thus far in life.

Spoiler Alert: it wasn't my own, nor either of my nanas', nor any of yours... at least not yet).

  • Yeah we can.

Admittedly, I'm always saying that there has to be something better you could be doing in your life, something y'know - actually engaging - rather than listening to me and my rerouted mental wanderings.

But, when those wanderings happen to wander into another journeyman engaging in their own human experience... those conversations specifically - those like this one right here - I'm going to say are probably worth your time.

At least I found the dialogue shared between myself and Christian to be as thought provoking in real time as it remains to me now.

Will it do the same for you?

    1. No promises

    2. But there are

    3. many,

    4. many,

    5. many,

    6. other episodes that I know won't.

    7. This one...

    8. it very well may be worth your time.

    9. I know it was worth mine.

  • I am pretty full of myself these days.

I think this time, this exact time right here - unlike every other attempt prior to this one - this time, for this recording here, the title nails it.

Fortunately, for those unfortunate enough to be here reading this, the universe has noticed my hubris and re-planned accordingly.

    As should you btw.

Hello universe!

As always, my greatest hope in this lifetime is to somehow, some way, get the chance to see you performing at your absolute best.

That day may not be today... I get…
