On this episode, I'm joined by the founder of Boardgains (IG: @boardgains.fit), Eric Mathura (IG: @islandgains). What is boardgains? It's literally a bootcamp in a box - a board game that is meant to get you active with your friends. Eric joins me in the studio to discuss the game, and his journey and how he took a simple idea and manifested it into launching an actual product. This episode is all about fitness and entrepreneurship. We touch on the importance of constant learning, our ability to take risks as we get older and how to tap into our resources including social capital (i.e. network!). Listen in!

This week's podcast is one of the realest conversations thus far as I'm in the studio kicking it with the homie Tony Sidhu aka Blitzkrieg (@blitzmusic1). Tony has been in the South Asian hip hop scene since 2001, an industry veteran. He's an avid motorcycle enthusiast and shares a remarkable story of his recovery from a motorcycle accident last year that left him bed ridden for months as the world was locked in during this pandemic. His love for hip hop led to his most recent project: Demo Tapes which is the aftermath of his recovery from his accident.
We dive deep into his career and personal struggles and growth as he shares many stories and his experience working with household names in the South Asian music industry like Panjabi MC, Juggy D, Tigerstyle, Choclair, and more.

He is part owner of the bar, Man of Kent, in Toronto and now launched his own spiced rum business.
Iqbal Sandhu is also part owner of the business and a lawyer by trade. Both Hayden and Iqbal grew up together, up north by the Georgian in Collingwood and Wasaga Beach. Tune into a jam packed episode as we talk about Island Diaz, stroll down memory lane, and get drunk.

On this podcast, my good friend, Gina Uppal joins me. Gina works at Western University as the Partnerships Lead in the Lab for Knowledge Translation in Health. On this week's podcast, the talented, Cindy Da Silva (Cindë) joins me in the studio (@iamcinde).
Cindë is a Toronto born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist. She stylistically combines gritty guitar, hip-hop production, and her very unkept emotional library to produce a bittersweet, sonic nostalgia in her songs with her latest release 'Influenca'. The song takes a blunt, upbeat approach to analyzing our current state of digital sickness and she's already started taking over a number of Spotify's editorial playlists.
We kick back and have a dope conversation about her musical journey, having worked with the XO label and branching out now to create her very own sound. She shares with me her experiences at Coachella, the Grammys, and the infamous Comedy Store in downtown LA. Of course, we talk about her personal growth as well and staying authentic to her truest self.
This is an episode you definitely want to tune into!
