We want to be real and vulnerable, but we don't want to overshare. When we offer too much personal information, we can overburden our people with our own problems. Understanding your own boundaries and the boundaries of your team will keep everyone safe. The goal is not to force anyone into sharing personal information or to manipulate people's emotions, rather it's about building trust and creating a space of growth and trust.
