Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we continue our 15 devotional series of prayers and read out of Mark 15:23 which says "And they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it”

"Sometimes, people will come along and they will hurt you. Use your gifts against you. They will mock your work, they won’t understand why it is that you do the things that you do, but there is always something to learn from Jesus.

 

This verse says “but he did not take it”

 

Jesus is the miracle worker. He turns water into wine. He makes our hard days easy. He builds our faith when we feel as if we have none. Some of us are walking through a miracle and we want the world to see wine, but all they will do is mix it with myrrh. Do not take it. Do not let anyone talk you out of your miracle, it’s in motion and it was set by God Himself.

 

My takeaway from today’s prayer was to keep leaning on His understanding not mine. My takeaway was to keep working the miracle even if others mock it. Jesus is in control, not the people around me. "
