  • Episode 156: Songs Under the Microscope, Vol 17: Ringo's "It Don't Come Easy/Early 1970"
In this episode, we go back into the lab to discuss both sides of Ringo's 1971 single: "It Don't Come Easy" and "Early 1970." The A-side became one of Ringo's biggest hits and most identifiable songs, and the B-side can be seen as an open letter to his bandmates and what he hopes will happen after their breakup.
As before, we've made a Spotify playlist that contains most of the cover songs discussed, as well as the two songs under the microscope:

  • Episode 153: An Analysis of "Beatles For Sale!"
We've danced around the topic before, but never dug deeply into the Beatles' 1964 album, Beatles For Sale. This album either gets overlooked, dismissed, or forgotten, but in our discussion we feel there are some songs that should definitely get a second look (and some that shouldn't). We hope you enjoy our discussion, and feel free to comment on our Facebook page, on Twitter @ivegotabeatles, or by email at [email protected].

  • Episode 150: A Look Back, A Look Forward, and Beatles Album Rankings
In this episode, we reflect on our 150 episodes thus far, and discuss some new format changes that will be taking place in our desire to broaden the reach of the show. These changes will allow us to keep doing what we do, but with even more content and platforms.
Then, we rank the 13 canonic Bealtes albums and discuss how we came up with the rankings. Do you agree with us? Do you think we have it all wrong?
Thanks for all your support and for listening all these years, and we look forward to continuing to connect with you in all our upcoming episodes!

  • Episode 148: Classic Beatles Gigs, Vol. 3, Wings in Glasgow, 1979
Happy 2020! Join us in our first episode of the year as we dig into the last Wings tour of the UK in 1979, with a specific look at the set of gigs they played in Glasgow, Scotland. Paul and his "Back to the Egg" band are in great form, having fun and playing tightly together. We discuss the diverse setlist which includes some surprises, our disappointment that Wings basically ended after these gigs, and of course, we comment on Paul's usual hilarious pre-song banter.
