In 2005 Charles Johnson's life took a turn for the worse. Charles was wrongfully convicted of murder and robbery. In order to obtain this conviction the judge allowed the state to use co-conspirator hearsay evidence from a witness who never witnessed this crime. This individual swore on oath and testified to what someone else told him. Charles constitutional rights were violated.
