The Mets played some of their worst baseball of the 2021 season which resulted in losing a series to the Pittsburgh Pirates who are one of the worst teams in MLB. On top of horrible play, the Mets lose Francisco Lindor and Jacob deGrom to the IL. Marcus Stroman tries to fight the the Pittsburgh Pirates John Negowski & Seth Lugo and Edwin Diaz blow a 6-0 lead.
