Jake Fried is a renowned artist, animator, and filmmaker. He is known for creating surreal and abstract animations using various mediums such as ink, collage, and paint. Fried's work is characterized by his unique style, which features intricate line-work and mesmerizing visuals.

We started with one of the most important questions of all. Why? This question laid the foundation for topics such as the primal act of making a mark, the concept of mortality, and it's significance to art.  All of which have an overarching theme, permanence. Lastly, We break down Jake's process themes and how technology has revolutionized the creative world as a whole, as well as discuss my favorite piece of his, "Raw Data"
