  • January Jones-Why Not Have It All? with Celia Ward-Wallace
    My Journey
As a wife, mother, friend, coach and business woman, I have experienced the highest joys of happiness and the lowest pains of loss. My purpose and passion is to use the experiences of my journey to help others embrace their own. All people start from the same place of being whole when we are born. Most of our lives we strive to find our way back to feeling whole. Life is about this journey: the journey of removing the blocks preventing us from having peace, love and success. Whatever your priorities are – family, relationships, spirituality, professional or financial – I am invested in helping you achieve personal satisfaction and balance.
    My Education
Growing up in Los Angeles, my life has been strengthened by the diversity of the connections I’ve made. My parents are life-long political activists and their commitment to equality and justice for all exposed me to diverse cultures, religions, languages and socioeconomic backgrounds. Understanding this, I carried this thread throughout my educational journey by studying inter-group conflict and the social costs of prejudice in undergrad at UCLA where I received a B.A. in Sociology and World Arts and Cultures.
I later focused on civil rights law and women’s legal rights in pursuit of my J.D. from the People’s College of Law. After working to promote equal access to public recreation services, I attended the Community Counselor Program at the Southern California Counseling Center where I learned techniques to help people face their struggles as a result of poverty and abuse. Through this journey, I affirmed my purpose in life—to advocate for empowerment through self-exploration.— Celia Ward-Wallace

  • January Jones-Cancer Survivor - Breastless in the City-Cathy Bueti
In the trials and tribulations department for finding love, Carrie Bradshaw has nothing on Cathy Bueti. In her early 20s, Bueti is widowed by her high school sweetheart and a few years later, just as she feels ready to venture out into the streets of New York City to date again, she is diagnosed with breast cancer. For most, a cancer diagnosis—and its related treatments and surgeries—might backburner dating. But for Bueti, it motivates her to redouble her efforts to find love again while she still has her hair. What emerges is a disarmingly frank look at what it takes to be a survivor. As Bueti recovers from surgeries, endures chemotherapy, and subsequently experiences the loss of her hair, she manages to negotiate the obstacle course of internet dating. Against the comical backdrop of one Mr. Wrong after another, Bueti is forced to confront her relationship with her abusive, alcoholic father—and her own distorted views about her body and her worth. Then, just a week after her last chemotherapy treatment, Bueti meets and falls in love with a wonderful guy.

  • January Jones - How Near-Death Experiences Prove the Afterlife w/Admir Serrano
Have you ever wondered what happens when we die? Is death painful? Is it the end? Does suicide solve our problems? Why do most scientists deny the existence of soul?
The belief in and fear of Life after Death are as old as mankind and as current as tomorrow's technology. The depth of debate between belief and denial stands in evidence that this subject has always fascinated humankind. While this phenomenon has been approached by renowned scientists, religious scholars and fanatics alike, Admir Serrano brings a spiritual take on documented experiences that bridge the gap between science and spirituality in his book, The End of Death: How Near-Death Experiences Prove the Afterlife. The work is filled with extraordinary true accounts of Near Death and Out-of-Body experiences, as well as the author's personal insights.

  • January Jones - Lay Over CEO with Bethany Daniels
Bethany Andrews is the CEO of Lay Over, Inc. a Denver, Colorado company aimed at providing rest and relaxation to air travelers affected by layovers. Here is a link to her website:

    www.layoverdia.com
Q:  What gave you the idea for your business?
A:  When I was 12 my father took our family with him on a mission-trip to Nairobi Kenya. On our way there we had a 10 hour layover in London. This was our first (of many) trips internationally so me and my sister were very excited. I was looking forward to the whole trip but especially the layover we had in London. I thought it would be like visiting America only across the pond-plus my Dad promised we would do a lot of sight seeing. By the time we arrived in London, we had to take our bags through customs, and recheck them in. That took forever- keep in mind I was only 12. By the time we left the airport, we still had our carry-on with us, we were jet-lagged and tired and trying to stay completely excited about London. The first thing we did was take a tour on one of those red buses they have. The next thing I remember thinking was “Oh wow! Big Be(n)…” and right there I fell asleep. The tour guide ended up nudging me and my sister to wake up because the tour was over (completely over!). As me and my sister sauntered down the steps a lovely couple on the first level caught my eye as they were also sleeping and being nudged by the tour guide- it was my parents! We were all too tired for the tourist visit, so we ended up going to TGI Fridays (an American restaurant) and back to the airport so that we could wait for another couple hours for our flight. My sister and I had a lot of time on our hands so that’s when we first started talking about what an airport needs.
