Cancer Survivor

Joni Aldrich

On May 13, 2004, a cancer diagnosis changed Joni Aldrich’s life forever.  That was the day that she and her 43-year-old husband, Gordon, were told that he had a rare form of cancer. Once the shock wore off, what followed were two years of intense treatments including three stem cell transplants. Joni was Gordon’s primary caregiver often 800 miles away from home. Tragically the cancer invaded his brain, and Gordon died two years to the day after he was diagnosed.

As she went about rebuilding her life, Joni realized that there were invaluable lessons that she’d learned through the process of trying to save Gordon. She gave up her lucrative career and founded Cancer Lifeline Publications. Her own personal mission includes six amazing books (so far) to help others with practical, more focused strategies to survive cancer, caregiving, brain illness, and grief. 

 

But that wasn’t enough. Joni now produces and hosts five international radio shows every week: Cancer S.O.S., Diagnosis S.O.S., Caregiving S.O.S., Treatment S.O.S. and Ladies Who Inspire.

MEET: John Graves who has been the managing partner of a mid-sized independent financial advisory firm for 28 years. His interest in the world of shale gas and oil sprang up from a question a client asked, “Isn’t this fracking thing dangerous to the Earth?”

As a concerned citizen and as a financial analyst, he approached the industry from the bottom and worked his way to the top.

He has visited frack rigs in Texas, refineries on the Gulf, pipelines in the West.

Meet: Joan Peck who grew up knowing there was more to life than what the human eye can see. After her son died in 2005 of a drug overdose, she returned to her spiritual path and began to better understand and appreciate the energy of the ONE and our individual part in it. By writing her books on the chakras and her latest book, Prime Threat - Shattering the Power of Addiction, it became clear to her that it is up to each one of us how we choose to live. We have that right. It is by our chain of choices that puts us where we are today; yet, we need to feel the love energy in order to be able to reach out for help when we need to without the ridicule that many suffer when they expose themselves to be less than perfect. It is her hope that her books will help shift the energy of the earthplane to become more loving and safe for those children entering who need our help to face and clear their addictions.
