Elinor reveals: A vision came to me while at Stanford Hospital lying on a stretcher with a broken neck. I had one of those near-death experiences you read about but never happens to you. My life flashed in front of me in the form of a report card. On the left hand side, I had very high marks, but the right hand side was startling – it was blank and entitled Community Service!

I instantly recognized a need to begin giving back to communities at large. I vowed that if I were able to walk out of the hospital, I would begin doing just that. It was in ICU awaiting surgery that I mentally wrote my first business plan to include inspirational keynote speaking, motivational team training and sales education.  My mission is to teach you how to convert your biggest vision and inherent talent into business development to the enjoyment of the Smooth Sale!

For many, Dr. Bernard Siegel—or Bernie, as he prefers to be called—needs no introduction. He has touched many lives all over the Planet. In 1978, he reached a national and then international audience when he began talking about patient empowerment and the choice to live fully and die in peace. As a physician who has cared for and counseled innumerable people whose mortality has been threatened by illness, Bernie embraces a philosophy of living and dying that stands at the forefront of the medical ethics and spiritual issues our Society grapples with today. In May 2011, Bernie was honored by the Watkins Review of London, England, as one of the Top 20 Spiritually Influential Living People on the Planet. Bernie was born in Brooklyn, NY, and attended Colgate University and Cornell University Medical College. He graduated with honors and holds membership in two scholastic honor societies, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He trained to become a surgeon at Yale New Haven Hospital, West Haven Veteran’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. In 1989, Bernie retired from Yale as an Assistant Clinical Professor of General and Pediatric Surgery to speak to patients, their families and caregivers.

January Jones welcomes Carolyn Green, The Energy Nurse, RN, certified life coach, energy medical practitioner, sharing her White Light experiences Carol is the author of, Getting To Know You: Guided Pearls of Wisdom for a More Soulful Experience. Her book is based on 18 channeled guidances to help re-establish healthier thought patterns.

Carolyn has been a registered nurse since 1983, with experience in medical/surgical, and pre/postoperative care.  She is married to Chiropractor Dr. Adlai Green, and together they have been working at their established wellness center outside of Orlando, Fla. for the past 34 years. Carolyn trained and is certified in several forms of energy medicine, with a concentration on Healing Touch that is accrdited by the American Holistic Nurse's Association. She is certified in quantum and as a medical intuitive.  Carolyn is certified as a life coach as well.  In her healing practice she integrates all of her knowledge and abilities for a comprehensive view on how we function on levels of the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects.  Her works based on the knowing, that we are energietic beings in a physical body, and works to help her clients integrate all of themselves to foster the healing process on all levels of their lives. 

Carolyn always had the ability.  She had become more aware of this when her father passed at age 10.  Since 1989 she has acquired the gift and ability to hear her guides, angels and passed loved ones around her, as well as for others.  Her intention in her work is to help each individual to be able to connect within themselves, to be able to attain the guidance and support in their lives, to help them move forward.

January Jones welcomes Tom Ingrassia and Jared Chrudimsky co-author’s of When One Door Closes: Overcoming Adversity By Following Your Dreams sharing true life stories of people who have overcome insurmountable obstacles in order to live their dreams. Today’s interview features Ken McDonnell who is a husband, a father, triathlete and public relations director for Wake Up Narcolepsy, a nonprofit supporting awareness for Narcolepsy awareness and research.   

In October 2007, just two weeks after completing a triathlon, Ken was riding his mountain bike when a car struck him from behind. He has no recollection of the accident, or the next five weeks. He was air-lifted to UMass Medical Center where a team of trauma specialists saved his life, and where his saga began, through life support, risky surgery, lengthy rehad and finally back from the abyss.

Using Humor to Maximize Living

Mary Kay Morrison is an educator who has taught at virtually every level of the educational spectrum, while facilitating keynote presentations and workshop sessions for the past 30 years. Her work includes integrating what we know about applying cognitive research on both the emotions (particularity humor) and movement to learning. In addition to humor and stress management, Mary Kay frequently conducts seminars on brain research, leadership, ADHD, group facilitation, parenting and mentoring. Mary Kay is founder and director of Humor Quest. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH) and was 2010-11 conference chair. In 2009, she founded and currently directs the international AATH Humor Academy graduate study and certificate program. As a member of the Illinois NCLB implementation team, she conducted “Train the Trainer” sessions for the State Board of Education on school improvement and mentoring. She is the education advisor for the Funny Lit Project offered through World Laughter Tour.

Her publications, Using Humor to Maximize Learning; Exploring Links between Positive Emotions and Education I and Using Humor to Maximize Living are being used as texts for humor studies and both are used for the groundbreaking international graduate Humor Academy offered by the Association of Applied and Therapeutic Humor.

Dale Brunner has been a self-employed businessman for over 40 years. He was introduce to self-help and inspirational books like Think And Grow Rich and The Greatest Salesman In The World, early in his career and has read, studied and applied just about every self help book imaginable. Because he struggled early in his career and had not found the success he dreamed of, he was determined to do whatever it took to reach personal and financial success. During his career he has taken on every challenge and opportunity with an equal amount of passion and determination to succeed.  His original goal of being debt free has been accomplished quite some time ago.

 

Dale has been married to his college sweetheart, Vickie, for 41 years.  Success to Dale and Vickie means more than just financial well-being; it must also include a solid home and family life. Together they have raised 5 beautiful children including two sets of identical twin daughters.  They are also the proud grandparents of two grandsons and three granddaughters.

 

Dale believes that everyone deserves to have the opportunity to live a happy, healthy and joy-filled life of success and freedom.  Dale has co-authored 3 books called The Promise Of Surfing Rainbows, which act as guides to help others achieve their dreams and goals and to live happier lives.

 

Dale is currently partnered with his daughters and best friend in a movement called A Feel Good World.  This movement gives people the knowledge and the means to make the most of their life.  It offers a way for each individual to have their future in their own hands.
