日本語の表現「壁に耳あり障子に目あり」についても紹介します。

In today’s free talk, I share a story from a café. Sitting next to me was a man and a woman, talking about “What is happiness?” The man spoke loudly and confidently, while the woman listened with a smile. It felt like an arranged meeting or maybe their first date after matching online.

At the end, I also explain the Japanese proverb “kabe ni mimi ari shōji ni me ari”, “the walls have ears, the shōji screens have eyes.”
