Remove the first season Jared Bednar took over for the Colorado Avalanche and he has done nothing but win (yes the Cup has proven elusive so far). He has been up for the Jack Adams award in the past but has yet to win it. To coach a team with such high expectations, and provide a winner in the process is no easy task. But as far as regular seasons go, Jared Bednar has been exactly what Joe Sakic and the Avalanche faithful have hoped for.

So how is it that when nhl.com polled 16 of it's writers, Jared Bednar was nowhere to be seen? Not even cracking the top 5 in votes received? Is this something Avalanche fans should be preparing for come the end of the year, and will it go beyond Bednar? Will Sakic get shut out again for best GM, will Makar lose out in the Norris? Maybe something to prepare for.

The Reverse Retro uniforms were a big hit last year, and the crappy thing about it was they were introduced during a shortened season. That could change are rumors are swirling that the retro's could make a return next season, with the added benefit of changing them up if a team chooses to do so. What should the Avs do?
