Java with Jen: Hearing God's Voice in Everyday Life | Holy Spirit, Spiritual Warfare, Prophetic Word

When life is shakey, we want to feel stable, and when We lost our home and belongings in Hurricane Harvey in 2017, I walked away with five game-changing lessons that took a potentially traumatizing time and turned it into such a huge blessing, and they’re lessons that apply to any tough situation. With us staring down Hurricane Laura in the gulf right now, I thought it was the perfect time to share these golden truths. Enjoy, and please share with a friend! ——————————————————————————————————- #laura #hurricanelaura #texascoast #hurricaneharveyrelief #sabine #hurricaneseason #louisiana #weatherthestorm #hurricanelaura #gulfcoastlife #houstonnews #repostit #lovetexas #prayfortexas #helpeachother #flooding2020 #usatravel #rainfall #hurricanemarco2020 #hurricaneseason2020 #staysafeoutthere #evacuation #evacuate #hurrication #prayforgulfcoast #lafayettelouisiana #family #donatetoday #beaumonttx #texashurricane #toughlessons #lifelessons #overcomer #itsgoingdown #love #jesus #overcome #survivor #faith #blessed #beautiful #blessings #victory #healing #danceintherain #conquerer #power #strong #producer #nevergiveup #gospel #hope #victorious #instamusic #motivation #new #inspiration ##victory #love #happy #motivation #strong #life #power #success #happiness #positive #self #motivated #gratitude #successful #master #living #positivethinking #money #joy #rich #lawofattraction #blessed #makethemostofit #makelemonade #wegotthis #yougotthis #igotthis #disasterrelief #nationalemergency #redcross #houstonstrong #prayfortexas #prayforlouisiana #rebuild #payitforward #shiftyourmindset #mindsetmatters #mindset #thinkstraight #positivity #positivethinking #hopeinGod #Godisbigenough #Godisbigger #howtoovercome #standstrong #howto #stand #strong # lose #everything #gain #theworld #hope #peaceintrouble #peace #in #trouble #trials #purejoy #discover #youcandomore #generosity #generous #sweepstakes #naturaldisaster #unitedaidofsoutheasttexas #renebanglesdorf #jenileesamuel #austindisasterrelief

We ladies are always told (in regard to modesty) “shhhh!! Cover up, it’s for the guys sake!!” But how many guys have you heard speak to this topic?! Yeah, I decided to ask the questions and get some answers. Today’s episode is why you can still be “Hot and holy; The guys’ perspective” with one brave Anthony Taylor, and his wife Lily Taylor comes in clutch with a sprinkling of killer wisdom and stellar life hacks. We are all the same in one fundamental way... we all CRAVE the opportunity to lead lives that will make a difference in this world.  That looks different for each of us, but we can all relate to this sense of calling to leave our mark while we're here.  After a couple disappointments with ministers or organizations  that weren't really doing the work of the gospel they professed,  I started praying and asking God to connect me to ministries that are doing the REAL WORK of furthering the gospel, fulfilling God's greatest commission to us which is to help orphans, widows, preach the gospel, help the poor, heal the sick, disciple the nations.  Then I came across this ministry.. or rather, was divinely connected to this ministry through a unique set of circumstances and new friendships.  Seeing God's hand in it all, I wanted to sit down with one of their key staff members, Kristie Christie, and have her share the heart of this movement with you to present you with the privilege to get involved and change the life of a child.  This also is a great way to come alongside you in cultivating a culture of generosity, empathy and helping the helpless within your own children and home!  Wealth is a privilege... a tool to be stewarded and I can't wait to share this opportunity to do that!

❤️We are made for community. For companionship and moral support. But what happens when we are handed the opposite? When people are critical, we face rejection, or struggle to find our place? In this episode, my friend and fellow minister Jackie Grimm and i address the source of true confidence, and how to be ok when other people don’t like us. It’s not easy, but it’s possible.  Afterall, your Value doesn't Decrease based on someone else's inability to see your worth.   Follow Jackie on Instagram: @GrimmJackie Follow me on Instagram: @JavawithJen Or on Facebook: @javawithjenpodcast . . . . . . . . . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#value #worth #meaningful #important #special #decrease #increase #knowyourworth #inabilitytosee #knowwhoyouare #identityinChrist #whoiaminchrist #mylifeishiddeninChrist #ephesians1 #connectwithGod #timewithGod #Godsheart #Godsperspective #mindofChrist #mindofGod #Godsthoughts #Iamenough #Iamvaluable #Iamnotrejected #beatrejection #overcomerejection #knowwhoyouare #proveyourself #noneedtoproveanything #temptation #indexcards #memorize #scripture #Godbreathed #wordofGod #jesusloves #jesuslovesyou #knowyourself #knowGod #javawithjen #javawithjenpodcast #jackiegrimm #jenileesamuel #sermonsinstilettos #inspirationeverywhere #inspirations #inspirationtime #inspir #getinspired_no #inspireme #inspired #inspirationoftheday #inspireyou #inspiremyinstagram #beinspired #inspirationday #inspodaily #inspiration4all #inspiringquote #inspirationwall #inspirepri #inspirationquote #inspiredlook #inspire #inspirationalpost #inspo #inspirational #inspiringage #inspireland_ #inspiration #inspiredyou #insperation #inspirationalquotes #inspiringwomen #inspirationquotes #getinspired #inspireyourself #inspiration4you #inspirationfound #inspiration4all #inspirechange #inspiredby #inspirationquote #inspireland_ #inspirationoftheday #inspiredbyyou #inspirationalpics #inspiredbythis #inspirationday #inspireddaily #inspiration #inspirepri #getinspired_no #inspirationalquote #inspirationnation #inspirational #inspiring #inspiredliving #inspiredyou #inspiresomeone #inspirepeople #inspo #inspirationsstyle #inspirationdaily #faithwalker #godisgood #faith #faithbased #faithingod #faithfull #faithhopelove #beabetteryou #faithfilled #faithfully #trueworship #faithonfleek #faithdriven #faithful #faithatwork #humblesoul #faithlife #faithfirst #faithforward #faithgang #faithhopeandlove #faithworksbylove #faithfulness #faithgoals #faithoverfear #makethechange #believe #faithworks

Tired of the same 'ol same 'ol?  I hear that... we've all been there, and yet many times, life's curriculum requires we hang in there and keep at it.  In today's episode I hope to give a fresh perspective on how to not just SURVIVE today, but to thrive wherever God has put you.  Believe it or not, your mindset really can change your entire experience!

And stay tuned for "Life Hacks with Jen" where I share a little trick that has made gift giving so much easier between me and my husband, because let's be honest, it's an art, and not everyone is a naturally inclined gift giver!  This trick helps him know he'll hit a win with me, and helps me know I'll enjoy what I'm receiving, and vice versa.  Don't forget to share the episode with a friend, or on social media, and thanks again for all your support!!
