Add the Mets to the list of teams with COVID-19 postponed games.  Tonight in Miami and tomorrow the first home game of the first Subway Series of 2020 vs Yanks.  Mets are on their first three game win streak of the season.  
Love Mississippi governor Tate Reeves who has banned tailgates at college football games in the state.  He'd rather have no tailgates then no games like the BIG10 and PAC-12.  Amen.
Aaron Boone says winning the division not a big deal in this season.  So getting swept three games at home by the Rays isn't going to matter in October?  I disagree VEHEMENTLY.  
Leonard Fournette whatever motivates you.  $100 on your pads and you want 100 yards a game this year.  All good in my book.

So NCAA will decide on Friday if they will give all fall sports athletes another year of eligibility whether they have a season or not.
On that note, Lane Kiffin says players from say the BIG10 or PAC-12 should be able to transfer and play immediately for say the SEC.  But I think Ole Miss wouldn't be the first choice of most of those athletes.  I think Dabo, Nick and Georgia to name a few would get first dibs.  I say let it happen.  It will be like when all the teams switched conferences. 
After Laker loss last night I'm feeling that the Lakers don't have enough firepower for a title run.  You have Lebron, the Brow and Kyle Kuzma.  Danny Green is way too streaky though he plays some good D.  
And sorry Joel Embiid that there will be no fans waiting for you in Philly but you're down 2-0 and it's put up or go home time.  Brett Brown get that resume ready.

So Bengals, Browns, Ohio HS football and the AAC's Cincy Bearcats are playing but not the Buckeyes.   I'd be pissed too Justin Fields.  
I need to understand how instead of writing "Nuggets" Charlotte Hornets radio play-by-play announcer John Focke wrote a racial slur in a tweet.  I mean don't you check the tweet before you send it out?  Moron.
The NBA playoffs have been phenomenal.  Not shocked the Magic beat the Bucks.  Bucks haven't looked good since they entered the bubble.

Donovan Mitchell scores 57 for the Jazz who fall in OT to the Nuggets.  And he's only 23 soon to be 24.  Good thing the Knicks passed on him in the 2017 NBA draft.
Mekhi Becton I hope you open up holes for Le'veon Bell and Frank Gore this season.  I need 2020 to end on a good note for Jet fans.  
Well UNC only lasted a week for in person classes before having to go to all virtual classes.  And the AD at Alabama posted a pic of a lot of students not social distancing or wearing masks.  Ohio State QB Justin Fields got 175K signatures to have a football season in the Big10.  All this is showing me that this is going to be one bumpy potential football season.

So Miocic wins the rubber match with Cormier who took a finger to the eye that was not seen by the ref.  The ref did say after the fight that he made a mistake on that call.  My buddy Harris feels that Jon Jones will fight Miocic next and after beating him, Jones will fight Cormier again in 2021.  I'd love to see that.  Good fight tonight.  Cormier stayed away from his wrestling skills which perplexed Harris.  Me too.  
Damian Lillard the MVP of the bubble leads the Blazers to the first round against Lebron, The Brow and the Lakers.  
Alex Smith cleared to play.  Unbelievable.

Aaron Judge to IL with a calf strain.  
Nets-Blazers last night was a classic.  Damian Lillard hit a shot from basically half court.  154 last three games.  Caris Levert had 37.  Nets without their two stars played some good ball in the bubble.
Tomorrow night.  Cormier vs Miocic 3 for all the marbles.  I'll be watching at 2am.

You need to watch "Finding Big Country" by Kat Jayme.  It's on ESPN.  Great documentary.   She got to play one on one with her idol, Bryant Reeves.  It's great when your idol exceeds your expectations.
Today Rich Cimini reported he should be at the Giants-Jets first preseason game.  Instead he's reading COVID-19 protocols for attending his first Jets practice tomorrow.  Lebron was right we need a do-over for 2020.  
Speaking of Lebron, first forward to lead the NBA in assists EVER.  10.2APG.  So KD if he's not the GOAT, who is?

Damian Lillard en fuego for the Blazers.  61 last night. Second straight game with 50+ points.  And now they will play for the #8 seed in the Western conference.  Only Wilt and Damian have three SIXTY POINT games in a season.
Aaron Judge out tonight let's hope it's just a day of rest.  NINE HR's in 17 games.  
So the BIG12, ACC, SEC, AAC all still looking to play football in the fall.  I'd watch Clemson play Alabama every week.  
Stanley Cup Playoffs, Blue Jackets lose to the Lightning in FIVE OT'S.  That's why nothing compares to the the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  And Blue Jackets goalie Joonas Korpisalo had a playoff record 85 saves in the loss.
