Last night we almost had a donnybrook between the Astros and Dodgers.  Joe Kelly stick to pitching.  Dusty Baker told him before the benches cleared to get back to the mound mother@#$.  And I wouldn't mess with Dusty Baker.
16 Marlins have now tested positive for Covid-19.  That's more then half the team and they've been shut down until next Tuesday.  NFL good luck getting in your season.
NBA first two games tomorrow.  Isle-Rangers tonight in exhibition hockey tonight.  NBA has had no positive tests in the past two weeks. The Bubble works.

Derek Jeter might have to come out of retirement and suit up for the Marlins.
Kyrie Irving set up a fund to help out WNBA players sitting out 2020 season for Covid-19 or social justice reasons.  
I don't know how the NFL is going to get thru the season with the size of each team and all the traveling between cities.

So every MLB win this season counts as 2.5 wins in a 162 season.  Yanks just took 2 out of 3 from the Nationals.  
Congrats to the Houston Dash for winning the NWSL Challenge Cup 2-0 over the Chicago Red Stars.  Shown nationally on CBS.  Awesome they had a platform to showcase their talents.
Jamal Adams traded to Seahawks and the Jets get two first round picks for him.  Which means diddly when they Seahawks are going to challenge for a championship every year.  Tired of the rebuilding and the draft pick capital.  When are they going to play to win?
WNBA is doing a season demonstration for justice for Breonna Taylor.  26 seconds of silence for every year of her life.  Powerful stuff.

So a lot of fans are done with MLB because of the kneeling.  It is 2020 not 1950, no? 
Virtual fans FOX for MLB games?  Really?  Give free tickets to the kids, social distance them and let them enjoy watching.  They are the future.
Jamal Adams I agree that Adam Gase won't take the Jets to the promise land.  The sooner he leaves the better.

The Washington Football Team?  Could you come up with a worse name.  I wanted the Sentinels.
But the new NHL franchise, the Seattle Kraken now that name rocks.
16 teams now in the MLB playoffs and the Nats Juan Soto tested positive today for Covid-19 before the defending champs home opener.  That sucks.
Roy Jones Jr. and Mike Tyson in an exhibition fight on September 12th.  Both over 50.  Legends should do beer commercials not have exhibition fights.  Better yet bring back "Pros vs Joes."

Alyssa Nakken becomes first woman to coach in an MLB game on Monday night for the SF Giants.  So freaking cool.
Dodgers Mookie Betts got paid, 12 years for $365M plus the $27M he is getting paid this year.  Well the $27M will be prorated but it's still a lot of money.
Yanks-Nats tomorrow on opening day.  Dr. Fauci throwing out the first pitch.  Cole vs. Scherzer.  I wish I was more excited.  I have the Yanks going 47-13 and the Mets 35-25.

Reading a great book about MJ's comeback with Wizards by Michael Leahy.  Jordan had walked out of practice on his coach Doug Collins and Collins lost control of the team after that.  Then he had Phil Jackson who taught him that is was about the team first.  Jackson told Jordan to pass the F'in ball to an open John Paxson in Game 5 of their first NBA championship.  Priceless. 
Dr. Fauci will throw out the first pitch of the Nats-Yanks game on opening day.
Tobias Harris just had a press conference and the only thing he spoke of was justice for Breonna Taylor.  Amen.

Didi Gregorius is playing with a mask this season.  He has a chronic kidney condition.
Last Chance U is back with Football for last time, July 28th on Netflix.  I love that series.
JJ Watt wants to play and I agree with him.  A lot of questions have to be answered including safety, testing and how many preseason games to name a few.  It's July.  NFL the clock is ticking.

Titans RB Derrick Henry got paid finally.  $50M with $25.5M guaranteed.  He had an awesome season last year.  Well deserved.
Elena Delle Donne takes 64 pills a day for lymes disease and she has been told that she has been medically cleared by the WNBA to play this season.  I am confused and perturbed. 
Jason deGrom pitched one inning for the Mets and left the game with back stiffness.  This MLB 60 game sprint could see a lot of players going down with injuries. 
Blue Jays may not be given approval to play their home games in Toronto.  I agree with Canada.  Why let teams come into the country that could cause a spread of Covid-19?  Yeah this season is going to go off without a hitch.
