NFL going to play the Black National Anthem before all Week 1 games.  Change is good.
Texas A&M football got a year's probation for talking to a football player before his junior year of high school.  I feel that's a little nit-picky.  
Who wouldn't have wanted to be in Florida at the MLB's version of the movie, "The Sandlot." And that they were able to keep it a secret makes it way cooler.

Maya Moore gave up her 2019 WNBA season during the prime of her career to come to the defense of Jonathan Irons who was serving a 50 year sentence for burglary and assault.  The conviction was overturned after Irons had served 22 years.

NBA is going to have a basketball marathon over 16 days from July 30th-August 14th.  At least six games a day.  NBA's version of March Madness.
Dustin Poirier a UFC fighter from Lafayette, LA has done of a lot of good things for his hometown.  Fighting tonight on ESPN.  Rooting for him.  
Ronnie Barnes had a great piece written about him in the NY Post by Steve Serby.  Became first African American trainer in NFL with Giants in 1980.  Inspiring man.

To kneel or not to kneel during the national anthem will be a hot topic during sporting events this season.  Monday on their opening day of the season, GM Connie May for the Pro Softball team Houston Scrap Yard Dawgs sent a tweet showing her players standing during the anthem and tagged President Trump.  Well the players quit the team after the game.

Jamal Adams I agree with you.  Not a fan of Adam Gase.  Another reason why the Jets are one of the worst franchises in the NFL.
So MLB sixty game season and in the extra innings you start with a baserunner on 2nd base.  Why not switch to TBall?
