Elena Delle Donne suffers from Lymes Disease and is concerned that playing for Washington Mystics this year in the bubble could be hazardous to her health.  Her doctors support her but the WNBA and the WNBA players association disagreed and said she's cleared to play.  She has to take care of herself because can't put a price on your health. 
OBJ lost love for the game when he broke his ankle in 2017 and fans brought him back and NOW he's back to his blonde locks.  Worry more about playing a full season and less about the color of your hair.  But glad you're back.  Last year the Browns laid a big, stinky poop.

So cool that NJ is doing a round robin high school baseball tournament starting this week.  They get a closure on their season especially the seniors.  
Loved the MLB documentary "Junior" on MLB network.  And didn't know that his hatred for Yankees came for racism his dad dealt with when he played for the franchise.  
Very eloquent words written by Donté Stallworth in the NYT.  More minority candidates are needing in the owners, coaching and management positions in the NFL.

OKC Thunder working with the city of Tulsa to commemorate the Tulsa Race Massacre which will have it's 100th anniversary in 2021.  They are starting the Thunder Fellows Program.  Designed to unlock new opportunities in sports, technology and entertainment for Black students in the Tulsa area.  Great program.
Mike Golic done with ESPN.  So they kept his son but got rid of him.  I miss Mike & Mike.

Great article by Kalyn Kahler in Bleacher Report about members of the NFL dealing with George Floyd murder and social justice programs being developed by them in the U.S.
Andrew Brandt brought up an interesting point that the ten year deal for Patrick Mahomes benefits the Chiefs more then him.  Other QB's deals with be passing him in the future.  The market goes up every year.
The NFLPA president JC Tretter doesn't feel that the NFL has the players safety and health at the forefront going into the 2020 season.  I agree.  Too short a training camp and two preseason games.  Could lead to a lot of injuries.

Tanaka taking a line drive from Stanton's bat.  Tanaka said he will be back soon.
Cam Newton and Jameis Winston 2020 salaries combined making less then Chase Daniels.  Daniels on his best day isn't at the level of those two QB's.  Richard Sherman agree that Newton shouldn't have had to sign with Pats for NFL minimum. 
So a man kneeling turned people off to watching the NFL and now the Black National Anthem will lose more NFL fans.  I say be gone.  Is it because African Americans are the majority of the players in the NFL?  Food for thought.
