In season 3, episode 90, Crawly and Dustin break down more of Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer's comments at the GM Meetings recently, including what he had to say about injuries and the team's plan to address areas of need ahead of the 2025 season. Crawly then talks with Kevin Schwartz of Schwartz Sports about the upcoming Chicago Sports Spectacular, which will be held the weekend of Nov. 22-24 at the Rosemont Convention Center. It will feature 11 current or former Cubs, including three member of the 2016 World Series team. Later, Crawly and Dustin discuss Cubs infield prospect Matt Shaw's dominant game for Team USA at the Premier12 tournament and the contributions of catching/first base prospect Moises Ballesteros and infield prospect Jonathon Long to the NL team during the Fall Stars Game. They also discuss the Cubs apparently already giving up on the idea of signing star outfielder Juan Soto or star right-hander Corbin Burnes in free agency.
