On today's episode I ask the question, Do you want a new story?

This week I heard an episode of comedian Theo Von's podcast "This past weekend". On it Theo gets very emotional and shares his most humble and honest thoughts.

Hearing this made me emotional. It has been a long time since something has made me sit up and take notice, to ask myself the question, Do I want a new story.

I think to some extent we all do.

On this episode I am going to ask the question, are you a high achiever? We often equate being a high achiever with success and success with a great feeling of joy and accomplishment. But can being a high achiever also lead to stress, anxiety, disappointment and an overwhelming feeling of not being good enough.

Can high achievers often stop too soon because of the fear failure or because the fear of how others may perceive us is too much to bear?

By stopping too soon are we really missing, the journey, the small wins and the wonderful memories along the way even if the ultimate goal is somehow not attained.

This episode is 5 minutes, 42 seconds, yet I feel it is the most powerful and most important episode I have recorded.

I also believe that episodes like this are the reason I was flooded with that overwhelming need to start this journey in the first place.

I know that the idea for this episode is no fluke, no coincidence. I was struggling for a topic and it fell in my lap. Divine intervention is real.

It comes at a very important time.

I saw something very, very special on social media this week. It is something I referenced very briefly on a previous episode.

I could never articulate these thoughts the way this woman has.

I understand her message but I am in no position to talk to it as I have not experienced it like she has.

I am however very close to this in my life and I have seen first hand how it affects someone I love.

This one is important.
