Bloomberg and Business Insider reported that his official estate was valued at roughly $630 million, but forensic accountants believe that number may represent only a portion of his total holdings. Much of his wealth appears to remain tied up in offshore accounts, nominee-held companies, and untraceable trusts, limiting restitution for his victims.
