On today's episode of "In Stride," Sinead talks to Jennie Brannigan about developing resilience and overcoming self-doubt. 

Jennie Brannigan is one of the United States’ top event riders and has garnered multiple awards and accolades. 

Jennie grew up in Illinois and got into eventing at an early age. At only 13 years old, Jennie was already a working student for Allison Springer, the first of many top riders and coaches Jennie learned from including Phillip Dutton, Mike Winter, Karen & David O'Connor, and show jumper Susie Hutchinson.

By the time she was in her early 20s, Jennie and her horse Cooper had earned national attention. Jennie started Cooper as a 4 year old, and during the 2007/2008 season they won 9 out of 10 events at intermediate level, which placed them at the top of the 2008 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Leaderboard. Also in 2008, Jennie and Cooper won the individual and team gold medals at NAJYRC at the Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado.

Since then, Jennie's accomplishments have only continued. Jennie and her partner Cambalda aka Ping have won multiple 3*s including winning the Nation’s Cup at Great Meadow both individually and with the US team. Jennie and Ping were the traveling reserves for the 2015 Pan Am Games and Jennie has been a top 15 ranked rider multiple times.

Jennie's business, Brannigan Eventing, is based in Pennsylvania where she coaches, trains, and rides.
