Last night, Hollywood celebrated TV’s creme-de-la-creme with the 74th Annual Emmy Awards. With SNL’s Kenan Thompson hosting, the show produced its share of surprise winners and standout moments. The high points included hilarious and inspirational speeches from Jennifer Coolidge, Lizzo, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. On the flip side, Jimmy Kimmel took the show to a low place. A very low place. Like on the floor. So did the Emmys - with their first full-scale production in three years - deliver? Or do they need a rewrite?
