this episode the ladies that are in the coaching session discuss emotional snacking and overall dysfunctional eating habits of the black In our community which helps build wealth for others as well as halt wealth for ourselves. We discuss a reading from The African holistic health book and from How to eat to live by Elijah Muhammad. Each time we meet, the ladies are saying that they never knew something. We are constantly learning how to make a lifestyle change.
I started a course that lasts for 90 days. The goal is to make a lifestyle change that will affect your life spiritually, mentally and physically. I currently have a session going with 5 women including myself. We are studying the crisis of the African American race when it comes to our overall health and conditions of life. We are diving deep into ways that can save ourselves and the next generation. These podcast are recorded zoom sessions
This first week we are basically talking about who we are. The black race is enslaved in the mind because of a lack of knowledge. Even if we are wealthy with money we are poor because we can not keep our race going trying to live like others. Just look around, what happens to a white person when they eat at fast food restaurants, compared to the black race? This is a hard pill for most to swallow. They feel bad and say things like white people have bad health too. I then respond "well look at the statistics. Yes they do but not to the degree that we do. Black people are 72% more likely to have diabetes than a white person." So, we are learning who we are and therefore we can heal ourselves and as Black women, we have the power to heal our Nation Our Black race. We must become righteous physically, mentally and spiritually. MY program is designed to guide us on this journey of seeking, finding and utilizing the knowledge of Self.
Jashee has an important conversation with her mother about diabetes. They discuss the problem and the solution. Jashee feels that she got through to her mother who needed encouragement to continue the fight. Jashee's mother has been dealing with this horrible disease for over 20 years. Jashee is determined to fight this disease and help her mother fight it. They are going to leave a better legacy for their children and grandchildren.
Solomon and I share a formula that has helped us with our daily lives and therefore our marriage. The four P's are Passion, Perseverance, Patience and Peace. These four practices has given us Power to achieve a healthy body, mind, soul and a healthy marriage.
If The system fail, Well, when the system fail, Can you survive. How can taking care of yourself help you to not need a doctor or free healthcare?
Solomon takes his time and breaks this thing down. Listen as he runs and gives you and I some advice that could save our lives.
Solomon is on his morning run again as he gives genuine advice that can change someone's life for the better. He says that the unseen(thought) is reality and the seen(physical) is an illusion. So your thoughts must be right to bring about good results and a good life. That's deep. Listen to Him!
Jashee goes into details about what the mind is and how a person can be conscious or unconscious which determines their Motion or direction in life. She gives steps that can help the mind wake up and therefore motion an individuals universe in the right direction.
she uses her own experience of her morning jog in the rain to show how getting your mind right is a necessary for moving higher up. Obtaining knowledge about herself helps her understand that she must take the steps to ensure good health.
This is another motivational podcast by Solomon as he goes for his daily run. This day he is running in the cold rain. He says the reason he can push through is because at the end of the day, he has to look himself in the mirror and say "I gave it my all today".
BETTER TOGETHER is a song that I wrote a year ago which sums up what goes on with Black couples which cause the break up of the family. In this podcast I perform the song and would like you to listen to the lyrics. Sis we have to humble ourselves and Call up the God within to help us stop speaking bad into our lives and Call up The good. I know it's hard but when you submit to God, It becomes easier to submit to your man. He will also be the man he needs to be because of you Sis. Yes You have more power than you know. So speak and do good and shut off the bad noise of this world. Shut Up & Keep Your Man
Solomon is using his Blessing to Bless others as he goes for his Daily morning run. He talks about how beautiful the morning is. The breeze is nice, the grass smells good and overall the weather is kind. He says that we should be the same way as we bless others. He describes this feeling as apiece of Heaven and recalls THMEM saying "Set Yourself In Heaven At Once" Listen as he teaches an important lesson of how to set yourself in Heaven as he continues to strive to be there also. My favorite part of this podcast is when he talks about the story of The Robber and The Strong Man.
