Jessica Robin - Recovering from Islamic Oppression
TW: Child abuse, religious abuse
Today’s guest is Jessica Robin, a program creator and group facilitator with Free Hearts, Free Minds (FHFM) - the charity founded by CORT2021 speaker Yasmine Mohammed. FHFM focuses on former Muslims at risk of persecution or execution for what they think or who they love. Jessica has a bachelor of behavioural science in psychology, as well as being a certified coach. Though Jessica has always been secular, she is passionate about Islamic issues and human rights.
In this episode, Jessica shares stories of life under oppressive Islamic regimes and how FHFM is working to help survivors find freedom and autonomy.
