Jessica and her husband started trying four years ago for a baby. After six months of trying without success, she sought care from her OBGYN. Originally she was diagnosed with PCOS, which she took a self resolution approach by controlling her diet and incorporating low intensity exercise. After another six months of negative pregnancy tests, Jessica moved forward with deeper testing.
Her OB suggested they start with medicated cycles. At this point, she also suggested her husband take a semen analysis. Upon receiving the test results, Jessica and her husband realized they would be facing double the diagnosis. The results showed that her husband had low sperm count and poor morphology.
