How do we find peace when chaos seems to be all around us? Scripture reminds us that Jesus came to not only save us from our sins but to overcome every bit of evil in this world. The sacrifice God made by sending his Son to die on the cross for our sins tells us that we can never be perfect on our own, but we must be born again. It is good to be passionately devoted to God, but passion alone will fade. Abiding deeply with Jesus and humbly obeying His Word will sustain in the middle of trials. When temptations come, will you be watchful, alert, and prayerful?
