Happy Holidays v. Merry Christmas

 

Does it really matter what Christmas greeting we use?

Do businesses have a responsibility to use the language we prefer?

 

Christmas doesn’t cease to be about Jesus just because we say Happy Holidays.

Jesus is the reason, even when we fail to acknowledge it.

 

Should we acknowledge it? Yes.

Saying Merry Christmas isn’t exactly sharing the Gospel every time either.

 

Isaiah 9:6-7

 

Happy Holidays = Happy Holy Days
