Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

In today's message, Esther will be making a request of Mordecai and all of the Israelite people – she will ask them to fast. Fasting is a practice of going without for a period of time. You could fast from food or from a certain activity, or whatever else God leads you toward giving up. Pastor Daniel will share more about fasting, reminding you that it points to the need to put God first. He's your provider and your sustainer, and should be the most important!

There's so much happening in this world. Evil is all around you, and the need for hope is great. But sometimes, you can be blind to it. You may also simply turn the other way, choosing not to engage with the need. Today Pastor Daniel will challenge you to ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes. Allow yourself to feel the pain in this world, and let the Lord show you where you can help! He will equip you as you step out in faith to love the world!

Quick decisions without full knowledge are dangerous! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will urge you to get as much information as you can before making a major choice. He also will encourage you to take your decisions before the Lord! God is your best guide, and He is the best one to direct your steps and lead you in the path He knows is correct. After all, God already knows your future! Trust Him with right now too.

Pride comes in a variety of forms, but all of it is sin. You may think you can justify your feelings or your attitude, but it boils down to selfishness. Pastor Daniel will tell you today about an individual from Esther's story who was proud, and the chaos he caused. There's another option, however, for everyone - turn your life over to Jesus! He has paid for your sins - pride included - on the cross! He allows you to start again!

As you'll discover in today's message, Esther didn't choose her circumstances. Pastor Daniel will describe how she came to be in a land far away from home, chosen to be part of an ancient version of the Bachelor. You might be in a situation that you didn't expect either, in a place you'd rather not be, but does that mean you don't have a purpose? Today, you'll find out that no matter what's going on, God can use you to do something amazing!

Guess what – you're not really in control! Now, that might be a hard thing to think about right now, but think about it this way – do you choose to breathe? Are you controlling your internal organs, and do you know precisely when you're heart's going to beat? Pastor Daniel reminds you today that God is ultimately in control of all of it, and whether you like it or not, your body is submitted to His authority. But remember too – God is good, all the time!

Nothing in your life is random! Though you may not be able to see how the people and events of your world relate, God knows – He's the master planner, after all! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will begin telling you about Esther, a woman who lived long ago and found herself in some unusual and seemingly random situations, only to discover later that all of it was part of a greater plan. Esther trusted God, and you can too!

You likely have wanted God to talk to you at some point in your life. You've prayed hard and listened for hours, but you just aren't getting the results you thought you would. In today's message, Pastor Daniel acknowledges this, but wants to reassure you – God's always listening. Sometimes, though, God knows that not speaking is best. He knows that asking you to wait or even saying no might be exactly what you need!

As Pastor Daniel continues to tackle the specific requirements of the law today, you'll find that there's a lot that we as God's creation have to live up to! There's a perfect standard, and the sins every one of us commit goes against it, and disqualifies us from being in God's presence. But don't be discouraged – there's hope! There's Jesus, God's Son, sent to earth to redeem that connection. And today, He's offering you grace to cover your sins!

The disciples were certainly not the best choices for ministry – they made several mistakes and had quite the personalities! Yet Jesus used these people to do amazing things in spreading the Gospel message! Today, Pastor Daniel will be reminding you that God can use anyone – and frequently does – to do good in this world! God used Moses, and he was a murderer with an anger problem. God will use you too, if you're willing to let Him!
