Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Trusting God is hard, and trusting Him with your finances may be even tougher! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will be extending a challenge to you though – he'll ask you to tithe. This might seem completely insane, especially if you're living paycheck to paycheck and there's nothing left. But Pastor Daniel will remind you that God promises in His Word that He'll take care of you. You may not see how, but trust Him anyway!

God has made you uniquely. You have gifts and abilities that are tailored to you, given by God, and God has a plan for your life using all of them. However, it might be tempting to hide those things and not use them as intended. Pastor Daniel will be telling you today that by not allowing God to use you as He made you, you're actually stealing from Him! Don't rob God of His creation – instead, give yourself over to Him, and let Him bless you!

Sometimes we can take things to the extreme – we may see someone and, not wanting to lust after them, we ignore them completely. However, Pastor Daniel will remind you today that you were made to appreciate God's handiwork! It isn't sinning to look at another person and recognize that they're beautiful. In fact, Pastor Daniel will encourage you to do that with everyone! And then, praise the Lord for His talent and creativity!

Everyone has an opinion. People's backgrounds are different, so the opinions tend to reflect that diversity. But, Pastor Daniel has a central opinion that he'd like you to consider today – Jesus opinion! Today Pastor Daniel will be discussing some hot-button issues surrounding the idea of murder, but He'll be pulling you back to Scripture, reminding you that Christ needs to at the center of any discussions and actions taken!

It's easy to justify anger – you can rationalize any emotion and shift blame to another person in an instant. But today, Pastor Daniel will be encouraging you to take responsibility for your own anger! He wants you to allow God to place on your heart the times when your emotions haven't been kind, and may have caused more harm to the situation. This isn't meant to put you down – it's intended to draw you closer to your merciful Savior!

Work, when broken down to its basic structure, is a part of life – you do a job to get paid so that you can buy what you need to live. That mentality can sadly extend into our Spiritual lives too. You may think you need to work to gain what you need to get to Heaven. But, it's not up to you! Today Pastor Daniel will be asking you to let go of a works-based mentality, and to trust that Jesus has already done everything! His grace is enough, and it's free!

Resting is not a top priority for most people! But in today's message, Pastor Daniel will be reminding you just how important taking time off is! Don't let work and the desire to achieve take priority over your relationships, especially your relationship with God! He wants you to know Him, and find renewal in Him! Pastor Daniel will urge you to turn to God today, asking Him to revive your weary soul and give you the rest you need.

The Ten Commandments – and all of God's law, really – is meant for EVERYONE. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've accomplished. God still expects you to do what He's asked. In today's message, Pastor Daniel will also remind you that the Gospel message is for everyone too! No one can perfectly keep the law, and that's why everyone needs to hear about the grace of Jesus, no matter how good you think you are!

Pastor Daniel will ask you today why you would worship something that can't control anything. You may not bow down to a block of wood or sacrifice to a picture or statue, but is there anything in your life that you're depending on to save you? Pastor Daniel will be reminding you that really, trusting anything or anyone but God is illogical! It just doesn't make sense to rely on worldly things to give you security for your future!

The first of the Ten Commandments discusses God being the only Deity in your life – no other idols should be put before Him. Pastor Daniel will be telling you today that an idol isn't necessarily a statue or monument of some kind that you bow down to. An idol is anything that you put before God – your job, your friends, your activities, and even the people you love. By focusing on God first, the other things will fall into place!
