Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

You really can't bring anything to the table when it comes to Salvation. Nothing you've done is good enough to pay for the sins that you've committed. But, Pastor Daniel will tell you today that it's ok! Not only can't you bring anything to the table, you SHOULDN'T! Jesus has taken care of it all, so there's no need for legalistic rituals. All you need to do is accept His grace as the forgiveness of your sins. That's it – there's nothing else!

It's easy to let your view of your church become your personal place of being served. You want the leaders and the people to cater to you, to teach you easy things and not challenge you. But Pastor Daniel will ask you today if that's really the church! Your family of faith is meant to sharpen you, to challenge you and help you grow! It will include hard things, and it may make you uncomfortable, but it's necessary to avoid spiritual apathy!

The church is an excellent place to go when you're broken. It's a hospital, in a way – a place where you can come and find healing. Your brothers and sisters in Christ are there to help shoulder your burden, and Jesus is holding you tightly in His arms! Pastor Daniel will tell you today that as you mend from your wounds, you too need to help bear the load for others! The church can only be a place of healing for all with the help of ALL its members!

A hard heart isn't something we boast about. We'd all rather be open to love and growth and joy! Sadly though, too many people have allowed their hearts to harden because of circumstances or life events. Pastor Daniel will tell you today that even followers of Jesus have found reason to close their hearts off to their Savior! You don't have to keep your hard heart, though! Today Pastor Daniel will tell you how to open your life back up to the love of Jesus!

Pastor Daniel will share more actions of the flesh in today’s message, but he’ll also be telling you what actions of the Spirit are. These fruits, like love, joy, patience, and self-control, contradict the things that the world promotes as fulfilling. When you choose to walk in Christ instead of in the pleasures of your flesh, you’ll find that you simply don’t WANT to pursue sinful things! Today’s message does contain some mature themes.

Today’s message does include some mature topics, so may not be suitable for children. This topic is important, though, as it deals with the problem behind worldly desires. The world doesn’t see an issue with doing what makes you happy, but there’s a lot more people who are discontent than satisfied. Pastor Daniel reminds you that God designed your sexuality to be used a certain way, not just for your enjoyment, but to protect your heart!

Today Pastor Daniel will be explaining what walking in the Spirit and walking in the flesh means. Both of these are very distinctly different, and you’ll be aware when you’re in one or the other. Walking in the Spirit, though, gives you a perspective more like Jesus, and even makes the temporary, worldly desires fade to the background. Today’s message does include some mature themes and topics, so isn't meant for young children.

Your sin was the reason Jesus had to die – have you ever thought about that before? That’s a sobering idea to begin today’s message, but Pastor Daniel wants to stress the importance of realizing your contribution to the Gospel story. Christ had to die for the sin of the world in order to make a way for people to join God’s family. Those sins include the ones you've committed! But that also means that Christ is offering you forgiveness and new life!

The freedom of living under the grace of Jesus was never meant to be a burden! There isn’t a list of rules you have to follow now or continued rituals you have to perform to “keep” salvation. Pastor Daniel reminds you today that Jesus Himself said that His yoke is easy! There is still work to be done for the Kingdom, but with Jesus, the pressure is greatly lessened! You can live in freedom and still be Jesus hands and feet on earth.

A lot changes in this life, but one thing remains the same forever - the Gospel message! It says the same thing today as it did when Jesus died on the cross - you can be saved by grace! Pastor Daniel will warn you today not to let legalistic practices become part of your walk with Jesus - you are set free under His love! There will be some who try to add to that message, but Jesus doesn’t need “extra” rules - He’s enough!
