Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

God commanded the people of Israel to live differently from the world around them. This included what we'll be learning today from Pastor Daniel – that sometimes how we use our resources won't line up with how the world thinks they should be used! We're to show the forgiveness of Jesus to people around us, being willing to forgive debts to show His love. Jesus forgave us every sin we've ever committed, which frees us to grant mercy to others!

The standards we live by as Christians are rarely followed by people who have yet to give their lives to Jesus. Pastor Daniel shares today that we shouldn't judge people not following the God they have yet to meet! We've been made holy through the grace Jesus gave us, and because we've accepted that, we have the Holy Spirit in us! We need to show people the radical difference Jesus makes, but not through chastising them!

eath is always difficult to deal with, particularly when it's someone we truly cherished. Today, Pastor Daniel discusses how different mourning can be, though, when we know the hope and love of our Savior! Jesus defeated death to take our sins away, and when we accept that, we have the chance at eternal life! We will still have sadness, but we look at it through the lens of the cross and the empty tomb, knowing life comes from death!

Peer pressure can be a powerful thing! Society, our friends, and sometimes even our own families can cause us to turn away from the truth we know, and the radical living Jesus asks from us. Pastor Daniel shares with us in today's message that this doesn't have to be the end of our walk with God, though! Even though we stumble, our Savior is faithful and will still bring us back to the path we were on, pointing us again in the right direction!

Though we may be followers of Christ, we still have the ability to be swayed by the world! Today Pastor Daniel spends time teaching us God's views on those who lead people away from the truth of the Bible. These false prophets still exist today, and their partial truths and misguided words have the power to capture those who aren't rooted in God's Word! When we spend time learning the truth, it will be much easier to resist those false teachers!

Selfishness is never a good idea. When we focus more on self than on others, or even on God, we start to look for the benefits for us. This causes us to fall away from God, and will never leave to lasting happiness, no matter how hard we pursue it! Pastor Daniel shares in today's message how dangerous it is to allow self to become our primary focus. Instead, we need to keep our Creator as our goal, allowing Him to direct our steps!

God has given us blueprints for how our lives should be run when we're following Him with our whole beings. Though we're saved by grace and therefore not condemned by the law, we still need to study it to know how we're expected to conduct ourselves. And when we stray from God, Pastor Daniel reminds us today that we have the ability, or the responsibility, to get choose to get back on track! God's grace is forever available!

Every law that we'll be studying in the book of Deuteronomy points to one thing – where our worship is. God has created us, given us an incredible place to live, and gave His own Son to die for us so that we could have a relationship with Him! He deserves our worship! Pastor Daniel will share in today's message how allowing God's law to influence how we run our lives will help us keep our focus, and our worship, on our Creator!

There's a lot in this world that's alluring, and sometimes we find ourselves swept up in a sin before we realize how far we've gone. Some of these derailments from our walk with God stick with us though, even when we know they're wrong. Today, Pastor Daniel encourages us to rid our lives of the things that are holding us down! When we're able to walk away from the hindrances, we'll be able to experience the full relationship God intended!

Much of the time when studying the beginning of humanity, we focus on the sin that happened in the Garden of Eden and the separation from God it created. Today, Pastor Daniel reminds us of a different perspective. God created the Garden, and the world we live in now, for us to enjoy! He set guidelines for our protection, and when we follow them, we'll experience the fullness of His blessings. God has given us life, and He wants us to live!
