Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Today's message challenges us to think about our needs in a new way. The Lord's Prayer includes a section on asking God to provide for us, but often we take what is provided and look to that for our security. Our earthly status becomes more important than God! Pastor Daniel reminds us to accept the blessings God gives us, relying on Him to provide what we need, and still stay focused on what His plan is for our part in His Kingdom's advancement!

God has used people for generations to advance His Kingdom on earth. After Jesus rose from the dead and returned to Heaven, His disciples began to turn the world upside down! If they can do it, we can too! Pastor Daniel encourages us today to seek God in prayer, asking Him to show us how He wants to use each of us to make a difference right here on earth! He has a great plan for each person, and we will go much farther when we are on God's path!

The Lord's Prayer is something many are familiar with, Christian and non-Christian alike. In today's message, Pastor Daniel discusses the purpose and vital need for prayer by dissecting Jesus prayer template. He reminds us first and foremost that God is to be the focus, not just of our prayers, but of our lives. God has a great adventure planned for each person, and we won't know what it is without seeking Him in prayer!

Before Jesus died on the cross, we were slaves to sin, and nothing could break us free. Jesus death, however, broke that bond forever! Pastor Daniel reminds us today that we have been set free, if we acknowledge this and turn our lives to Jesus. Because we have been set free, we also need to seek to share that freedom with others, be it spiritual freedom from sin through Jesus, or the physical and social bondage we encounter in the world today!

Today's grab bag of topics all have one very central theme in common – the Gospel message of Jesus. Pastor Daniel wants us to remember today that Jesus life, death, and resurrection wiped our sin slate clean. By placing our trust in Jesus, we are no longer guilty of our sins, and we become children of God! We have a Heavenly Father who loves us and blesses us beyond belief, and we will one day be with Him for eternity in Heaven!

Suicide, one of today's varied topics, is a sensitive subject, and Pastor Daniel wants to remind anyone listening to seek help immediately if they are having suicidal thoughts. He also encourages all of us to cling to Jesus as our source of strength in this life! Without Jesus, our lives would have no meaning. With Jesus, we can live freely in His abundant grace and love, discovering with Him a new and Heavenly focused path for our lives!

Today's message takes a look at the law in the Bible, how Jesus came to fulfill the law, and what that means for us today! We're reminded again and again that following the law doesn't get us a place in God's Kingdom – only Jesus death and resurrection accomplishes that for us! Pastor Daniel reminds us also that even though we are saved, that doesn't give us a ticket to do whatever we like – we obey Jesus now because of what He has done for us!

We are saved by Jesus death on the cross, and only by that. However, some people still think they need to strive for perfection, thinking what they can do will earn them points with God, or secure their place in Heaven. Pastor Daniel today gives us the Bible's take on this, reminding us that anything we do to gain favor with God is and will forever be fruitless! Only by accepting Jesus free gift of grace will we ever be good enough!

We each have differing opinions on what the Bible teaches about things such as tattoos, food, and drinking alcohol. In today's message, Pastor Daniel shares with us that our views on these topics should not cause us to judge those with differing views! However, we also need to be sensitive to the potential of harming another with our opinions! We must always seek to love others first, even if it means giving up some of our own liberty!

There seems to be churches everywhere you turn. Different sizes and preferences are available to anyone and everyone. Hopefully, they all have the Gospel message in common, but Pastor Daniel today shares with us the real meaning of being a church family. We don't have to agree on every single detail about living to be connected! Instead, we must live as a family seeking Jesus together, despite our differences in conscience!
