Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Today’s message introduces a radical shift in how we deal with problems that arise in our lives. When we face difficulty, Pastor Daniel encourages us to head back to the root of Christian living to reflect Jesus in all we do and say. Jesus spoke of a different way of responding to adversity, and demonstrated it daily in His own life! This response is vastly different then what the world tells us to do, but it will have greater impact as we share God’s love!

Jesus completely changed the way we as humans lived when He came to earth to die in our place for our sins! His love for us led Him to a cross, and we were set free to live in His grace! Pastor Daniel reminds us today that this love is not meant to be hidden away. Everywhere we go, we need to display Jesus love and life mission for all to see. Our love for Jesus should be contagious – people should have no doubt in their mind Who we live for!

The message of Jesus and what He means to our lives is a message that has been told for generations. So how do we make that message a part of our own lives, and use it to create change in others? Pastor Daniel begins a new series today with the hope of challenging us in our expression of the Gospel message. Jesus has radically changed our lives, and He urges us time and again to radically share that change with everyone we meet!

What are you passionate about? What drives you to bring about a change? Pastor Daniel today asks us to examine our answers to these questions and compare them to what God is zealous about. God is passionate about many things, and when we catch His zeal for them, we may find our perspective changing. The things that matter to us now may become less significant, and our motivation may begin to focus more on others, and less on ourselves!

Today’s message brings us back to some fundamental heart issues. Some of the Israelites allowed idolatry and immorality into their lives, and the consequences for the nation were devastating. Pastor Daniel reminds us today that it doesn’t take much to allow similar problems into our own lives! Simply putting anything, regardless of size, before God creates an idol, and that idol can have devastating results if we don’t take care of it!

The world pressures us constantly to do what’s best for us, to strive for the promotion, or cut the corners we need to in order to get ahead. This is rarely God’s plan, however! In today’s message, Pastor Daniel reminds us that God’s timing, though not always in sync with ours, is always better and will always yield the greater result! God has a unique plan for each of us, and He will reveal His timeline to us as we continue to seek Him!

As we continue to study the book of Numbers with Pastor Daniel today, we are reminded that the Old Testament communication with God was very different than it is now! Those in ancient times didn’t have the direct connection to God through the Holy Spirit that we do today. When we accept Jesus’s gift of Salvation through His death on the cross, we are given immediate access to Him through the Holy Spirit, who from that point on lives in us!

When we become children of God we gain access to blessings and promises that we could never imagine. Our lives may not look successful or put together from the world’s point of view, but we have love and care of our Heavenly Father, who will always be there for us, no matter the time or place. Pastor Daniel reminds us today that worldly success doesn’t last! However, building our faith and relationship with Jesus will have eternal effects.

God used a donkey to speak some hard but true words to Balaam. If He can use an animal, God can use anything to get our attention! In today’s message, Pastor Daniel asks us to open our ears to what God wants to say to us. It may come from anywhere, anyone, or even anything! It also may not be something we want to hear, but it will always be a benefit to us to listen and allow our hearts to embrace the message!

The dark and depressing times of our lives can seem insurmountable. We can feel alone and detached from God, and hopelessness can change our perspective. Pastor Daniel today wants to encourage us to cling to the promises of the Bible when we face the valleys in our lives! God promises to always be with us. He will take care of us, comfort us, and bring us through our pain! Our faith will grow as we trust God to do as He has promised!
