Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

God has tremendous plans for each of His children! These plans will benefit many, and are greater than anything we could conceive of ourselves. If we follow God on the road He will show us, we will come upon a life of blessing beyond imagination. The question is, though, are we willing to follow? Today, Pastor Daniel continues to share the journey of the Israelites, a people who were just starting to see the great plans God had for their own lives!

Discouragement is going to find us as we journey along the path of life. The world is going to try to tear us down, and some days that burden seems harder to bear. Today, Pastor Daniel will share with us that even the complaining Israelites found a different perspective along their journey – they found ways to praise God! Taking time to seek out the blessings from God and thank Him for them can change our perspective too, and help lighten the load!

Words have a great impact! What we say has the power to tear people down or to build them up. Pastor Daniel reminds us in today’s message that the words we let out of our mouths are not something we should take lightly! Constant negativity in our dialogue brings with it weariness and destruction. In contrast, though, words of encouragement and love can bring new life, and can plant seeds of hope even in the darkest places!

Today, Pastor Daniel reminds us of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, our Savior. Because of God’s love for us, we have a place waiting for us full of perfect love and blessings that only can be found with Jesus, yet we have no way to get there on our own. No matter how hard we try, we are sinful people! No amount of rule following or worldly achievement are enough to get to the Promised Land. But through the cross of Jesus, we can enter in!

When we find ourselves at a difficult junction on life’s road, it can be extremely difficult to see the problem from a wide perspective. We tend to focus on the complications the problem has created for us, and rarely can see beyond it. Pastor Daniel encourages us in today’s message to seek God for a different view! He knows the next steps, and with His help, we can begin to change our focus and gain a different, and better, perspective!

God is specific. That’s a characteristic that will be evident about the Father as we listen to the instructions He gave the children of Israel. As Pastor Daniel gets into the nitty-gritty of how people should live, we’ll consider the intention behind God’s commands for us. Purification laws were meant to protect the people and allow them to thrive. We’ll find that purification through belief in Jesus is what allows us to be a part of God’s kingdom.

When preparing food, it’s good practice to wash your hands, the food, and make sure the area you’re working in is clean. There’s a clear reason why we should follow these steps…it keeps everyone safe and healthy. Today, Pastor Daniel is going to lead us through a detailed description of the sacrifices made by the children of Israel. Not only was the process an act of worship to God, but we’ll find that spiritual purification serves a similar purpose.

No one would serve leftovers to a valued guest, but that’s exactly what we do to God all. the. time. Even though you may acknowledge that everything you have is due to the Father, it’s much harder to put giving your firstfruits into practice. We never stop battling selfishness. Today, Pastor Daniel will challenge you to examine all the areas of life where you’re giving God the time, money, and talents that you have left after serving yourself.

Some callings are more visible than others, but it’s not a measure of how valuable we are to the Father. As Pastor Daniel explains the roles of the priests and the Levites, we’ll understand how every role is vital for God’s intention for us. Our lives, our talents…they’re gifts. Listen and be challenged to feel the blessing of being given a calling. Rather than being burdened, consider that the true and living God is reaching out to you.

If you’ve ever been around a chronic complainer, you know how easy it is to reach your limit. There’s only so much grumbling a person can listen to. We complain to God all the time…about whatever is dissatisfying about our lives. Today, Pastor Daniel asks us to take a different approach, as we hear how God reached His limit with the children of Israel. They should have been grateful for their deliverance, but were blinded by circumstance.
