Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Imagine if God’s judgment was to give you everything you want. If we’re honest with ourselves, most of our desires are selfish in nature…and ultimately spiritually destructive. Every believer should look back on their life before Jesus and see a difference in their thoughts and actions. But many of us also look at the past with a selective memory, remembering only the fun parts of our sin instead of the destructive baggage. None of us wants to show our weakness, but we have to be willing to say that our strength is in God, not ourselves. Today, we’ll follow the children of Israel as they make their way to the promised land. Pastor Daniel will remind us that no circumstance can take us from God’s hands.

Your obedience of yesterday doesn’t mean that you’ll get it right today. As Pastor Daniel reminds us in this teaching, some days we’re on…and other days are a mess, where we’re making off choices and headed for disaster. No believer starts out their day with the intention to disobey God, but we can go out overly confident. The children of Israel executed God’s will perfectly…but, not all the time. Without hyper-vigilance, bad decisions creep in…

The gospel message is radical. So radical, in fact, that a person can be saved out of an organization like ISIS. If God told you to witness to a violent extremist, your natural reaction would be “No way.” Today, Pastor Daniel will challenge you through this message to go out and share the truth of God. His desire is that the whole world should know Him. The WHOLE world, every day. Listen and be energized to set forth with a new determination to share Jesus.

In a world full of very diverse people, it can be hard to come together about anything. There are so many things to divide us, culturally, politically, financially…but, there is true unity in one thing: Jesus. Even within the body of Christ, we won’t agree on everything, but as Pastor Daniel assures us today, we can all unite about the most important thing. There will always be issues threatening to divide God’s people, but if He’s first, unity remains.

Right now, God has probably asked you to do something that you haven’t yet. It’s difficult to confront our own hesitance when it comes to God’s leading, but today Pastor Daniel will help us to take a hard look at our hearts, and determine just how willing we really are. As a believer, you leave behind your own selfish motivations and vow to let God lead…but that doesn’t mean your own will won’t creep back in. As you listen in this Psalm, to God’s promise to instruct and guide you, be emboldened to let Him lead.

When your kid makes a huge mess, you don’t stop loving them. Even if you’re frustrated, your love isn’t diminished. When we’re making a mess of our lives, God doesn’t stop loving us, either. Pastor Daniel will take us through this Psalm of David, where David brings His sin into the open, acknowledging his mistakes in front of God. Unconfessed sin hurts. It keeps us from true relationship with God and even manifest physically. Today, we’ll be challenged to consider what we’re holding back, and confess to the Father.
