Judaism posits that all human beings because of their psychological make up are fallible and everyone including the greatest spiritual beings do make mistakes. To make up for human fallibility God gave us the gift of Teshuva - repentance to be able to heal our relationship with him and others.
When we pray we are try to speak to God, through prophecy God can speak to us. Judaism posits that prophecy did exist until 2100 years ago today we can only obtain a very watered down form call ruach hakodesh - the holy spirit.
We are all the children of the beneficent GOD ALMIGHTY. He is our loving Father and will go to any length for the betterment of our welfare. We must never forget that we live in multi-dimensions at all times and they impinge on one another something that seems bad in this world will lead to something good in another dimension because of God's love so that we will be worthy of eternal life.
To enable us to have free choice and reach higher spiritual levels OUR CREATOR THE HOLY ONE BLESSED BE HE in HIS wisdom created the power of evil. This power is known by different names in Jewish tradition but the mission of all the forces of evil is to trip us up and cause our spiritual fall and eventual eternal destruction. The power of evil is so deeply embedded within our psyche to the point that we are able to rationalize our actions to the point where we lose our consciences. The struggle to overcome evil is rewarded tremendously in the next world (Olam Haba)
