In this episode, during Ji Yeon’s summer break in his hometown of Thailand, he takes the chance to both enjoy his vacation and invite one of his best friends, William, onto the show. Similar to Ji Yeon, William is from the Department of Foreign Language and Literature and is currently an exchange student in Thailand. He chose to study at Tzu Chi University so that he could take care of his grandmother. Known for being very talkative—so much so that his friends sometimes wish he would stay quiet—William openly shares his personality with the audience. In this episode, he also reflects on his university life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this episode, following the previous one, Ji Yeon and Ging decided to dive deeper into her current teaching experience at Chiangmai Tzu Chi School. She shares a surprising fact about herself—that she might actually have hemophobia (or hematophobia)—which influenced her decision to pursue her current career path instead of another. Ging also mentions how fortunate she was during her school years, as she drew great inspiration from various teachers who helped her cultivate the skills needed to become a good teacher. Toward the end, Ji Yeon and Ging take the chance to recall the memories they shared before his graduation from the school.
In this episode, Ji Yeon is finally back in his hometown, Thailand, for summer vacation. Having the opportunity to be a co-host for this show, he warmly invites one of his favorite senior high school teachers, Ging, as a special guest. She shares the reason why she chose to study at Tzu Chi University. One of the reasons is the strong sense of belonging that makes her feel warmth and love. She also talks about her passion for English, which started when she was young. Furthermore, she guides us through her university life by mentioning some of her favorite courses, one of which is Children’s Literature—a course that Ji Yeon also took!
For this episode, Ji Yeon is back again with the special guest, Terry. At the beginning, Terry talks about his university life by sharing some remarkable experiences, such as joining the volunteer team to Sichuan, becoming part of the Tzu Chi Collegiate Youth Association, and serving as an International Ambassador, among others. He also took the opportunity to intern with an organization called Humanitarian Affairs Asia, which eventually made his dream come true. In addition, he shares his teaching experience at Chiangmai Tzu Chi School, where he has been teaching for eight years.
