While 'listeners of a certain age' will get instant nostalgia feels from the very mention of Carter USM, this episode is by no means one for them and them alone! For Jim Bob is an eloquent and thoughtful musician with very good insights and understandings on the music scene with experience in the game. Carter blew up on the UK pop scene back in the late 80's / early 90's, and you may remember Jim Bob rocking that wildly influentional haircut if nothing else, but it's fascinating to hear about his time in the scene back then and to draw parallels with Pip about the game now, and what's happened in between. Including run ins with The Rolling Stones and Philip Scofield. A ton to enjoy, and maybe now's a great time to go back through the back catalogue with fresh ears... Enjoy!
