It’s finally time, GAMEWEEK baby! We’re back and worse than ever for what could be a vintage Dukes season (but we’re pretty sure the audio is at least synced this week so we got that going for us). So so good to be back in the saddle and hope some of y’all will enjoy the ride with us all season long.

It’s that time!! We’re likely off next week and then it’ll be Bucknell week so we’re coming out strong with our delusional and sure-to-look-dumb predictions for this year. We will have an awesome SBC gambling show up for you next week too when we’re on vacation!

Running Backs used to get all the love. These days not so much. But we’ve been fortunate to have some great Dukes toting the rock and it’s time to chat about our favorites. Plus some preseason love at Sun Belt Media Days and which Dukes are in which NFL camps.

Getting ready for Sun Belt Media Days with a trip through an outstanding 2023 Dukes Football schedule. This year is scarier than last but it’s hard to imagine a much more exciting schedule!

This was a fantastic conversation with former Dukes soccer star Ashley Herndon. She’s now an Assistant Coach for the Griz, but she’s also had an incredible journey since finishing JMU in 2016. From NWSL to a Champions League quarterfinal, she’s done a ton in a short time and is now settled and doing great in Missoula. Plus she has a great story about being outed as a Duke to the football coach right after the last playoff game😂. Plus the boys catch up after some time off.

We kick off our summer series catching up with former Dukes now doing cool things elsewhere in sports by having a great conversation with former Dukes soccer star, MLS player, and now coach at Mississippi St. Nick Zimmermann. Coach clearly has nothing but love for JMU and it was a pleasure hearing about his journey to JMU and how he ended up in Starkvegas.

Looking back on the best games, outstanding performances, top moments, and even a couple disappointments from JMU’s first year in the Sun Belt.

Lax beat the Terps again in dramatic fashion and heads to the spiritual home of college lax to face the mighty Orange this week! Plus, what a delightful surprise this JMU baseball season has turned out to be. And Nooch signs, season ticket records, and dropping field goal 💣!

Lacrosse is the seven seed in the NCAA tourney and hosting at least two rounds starting Friday. Softball is a dangerous underdog in the SBC tourney where they’ll face the conference’s best pitcher from South Alabama. Baseball has been shockingly competitive in the SBC but can they hang in there the last two series and make the postseason? Plus a few lingering questions that have to mentioned around JMU athletics.
