Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease associated with substantial morbidity and mortality, especially in women. The disease causes progressive damage to multiple organ systems and reduces quality of life. Improving your understanding of SLE heterogeneity at the clinical and mechanistic level can drive significant improvements across the care spectrum. In this expert-driven activity, you will hear the latest clinical evidence presented during the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) 2022 Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark, with regard to the current treatment options for SLE and the potential for TYK2 inhibitors to change SLE management.
