Like every month of December the account of the story of Jesus coming into this world is revisited over and over again. When the other eleven months come around it is never heard from or mentioned again. It has been grossly tied to crass commercialized greed and sadly connected to it. But the powerful, miraculous story stands the test of time.  I was reading the 2nd chapter of Luke, and read the part after Mary gave birth to Jesus. How there were shepherds in the field keeping watch over the flock by night. "And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid."

I thought about how the heavens and the glory of God could have shone upon other people groups that night. Instead He chose those men not only to see the open heavens, and to hear the spectacular birth announcement. But the greatest thing was they were the first eyewitnesses of all mankind to see their beautiful Redeemer, and Savior of the world.  My mind pictured those simple men sitting out in the open field, tired, dirty and unassuming. They were the poorest of the poor, the lowest of the low of citizenry, the underpaid and overworked. They were looked upon with disgust and disdain.

Yet I see a deeper message and insight. They represented the very people Jesus was sent first to preach the gospel to. As the Lord spoke in the temple in Luke 4:18, " The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."

Perhaps, this described the very lives of these men, which is why they were chosen.  And it seems to me that these men will ever represent not only to whom the gospel is first preached, but the kind of people who will powerfully go forth preaching it to the end of time.  We are to emulate their first faith like little children, yet mighty men, and to go forth preaching the same message with that same intense conviction and joy. Never forget those shepherd men as long as you live and not just in the month of December, and ever seek to join their ranks. I love what an old saint said from the 15th century. "Wherever you find a small group of poor Christians,....join them!"

Rena Groot shares her very powerful testimony of betrayal and abandonment as a very little girl that lasted through her whole childhood.  Listen to how she met the Lord along the way when she was very young, and how she continued to know Him more and more. There came a moment as a young adult where she did not want to live anymore, and thought about ending it all.  But that was the exact moment Jesus Christ came to her, and spoke words of love and life to her. She describes a spiritual rags to riches story, where God has taken everything she went through, and created her to be a powerful instrument of the love of God.   She has authored and published three books so far, and has now written her first book in a series of three called MANHUNT.  It is written just in time for people who have not really read their bibles, yet are living in the final closing moments of the church age.   

To sum it up in her own words, "It weaves threads from before the dawn of time, when angels rebelled and the dark, broken days of Earth began. Now is the time of the end…Earth’s last days. In order for a marriage and a family to survive the tribulation, PTSD, addictions, betrayal trauma, the great deception, the reign of terror of the king, the children's prison, the re-education camp, and pursuit by the Man Hunters; deep faith in God and extreme courage are required. Only the strong survive. MANHUNT has a message of hope and forgiveness. As Corrie Ten Boom said, “There is no pit so deep the love of God is not deeper still”. It is a message to unbelievers to flee from the wrath to come. The message is Run to Jesus. He loves you. If you repent of your sin, and trust in Him, you will find the narrow path —   forgiveness, love, mercy, and life…"

It used to be that it was only the Christians that knew which way the wind was blowing regarding times and seasons in prophecy. Now, even the unsaved of this nation know in their own way that it is the end of America. The surprising thing is, that millions of Christ-professing people will stand up to refute it. They are hanging on to hope that this nation will somehow weather this great storm we are headed into and go back to their godless-normal and carry on.  The reality is that this nation is like an old, waterlogged ship being thrashed out at sea in a brewing storm. A storm that is turning into the worst this nation has ever encountered and is not ready for. 

This nation is resolutely headed for a shipwreck of inevitable tragic carnage. America has always been called by other nations "the Land of Plenty." Now it is being stripped down from the head down to the feet, "all joy hath been darkened," and the "transgression is heavy upon the land." In the Book of Acts chapter 27 it is recorded that Paul the Apostle was a prisoner on a ship headed for Rome. He perceived that there would be "hurt and great harm," and the shipmaster and the centurion did not believe him.  That whole account is so reminiscent of this nation, and it's coming destruction. Paul was a potent praying man and friend and servant of Jesus. In the darkest part of that story, when all hope was lost, Paul told all the people on that boat that "the angel of the Lord appeared to him that night, saying, "Fear not, be of good cheer."  That the ship would be destroyed, but there would be no loss of life.  Everyone survived because ONE man believed the Lord and obeyed Him. There is a great storm coming upon this land. Your survival is not bound up in your food storage, though it is wise to have it. It will ultimately be Jesus Christ who will move heaven and earth to protect and feed you.  

There is a food shortage of epic proportion that is coming this nation has never experienced. If there are no human resources available due to not being able to store up food due to lack of finances, then you make sure you store up the sure word of God within you. This is the food that you store up. You store up until you are so strong in faith nothing can sink you! Store up the word of God, "thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you." That sin David spoke about was unbelief and that unbelief in the coming days will be deadly.  Don't be tied down to this world. You are going to have to cast all your future and everything into His hands, and you are going to learn to trust Him. Jesus will take care of you. He shed His precious Blood for you, and He will see to it that your faithful, uncompromising love to Him will rewarded. "Heaven and earth will pass away but the word of the Lord standeth forever."

We are seeing that our nation and all nations are waiting with clenched teeth to see what is going to happen in the coming days, and months. With a world-wide pandemic, a new surge of CV rampaging throughout this land, new shutdowns, loss of jobs in the millions. On top of that the entire nation is melting down financially. Total nerve wracking, nail-biting uncertainty. Along with stress and panic, being woven into increasing hopelessness is the momentum of present day humanity.   The world is tapping their nails on the dash board of humanity not knowing what to expect with these coming changes. And these "changes" are not what anyone voluntary has thrown their hat in the ring for. I thought about these coming changes in the light of an unchanging God. I thought about history that took me back in my mind to ancient days beginning with  the fall of Adam and Eve. My mind's eye traveled throughout the ages, and millennia of kingdoms, and rulers who once ruled in great undefeatable power who are all now in eternity. Thrones and great world dominions all the way up to the present day nations and governments, and those who rule in power.   

My adjoining thoughts sounded like the first chapter of Ecclesiastes. "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after."  I thought about that unchangeableness of God in prayer in the night, and then in morning devotion I came across Psalm 11:3-4, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men." There is a foundation that the true born again Christian stands upon while they live in this changing world. There are many foundations in this world, but there is only one sure eternal foundation, which is Jesus Christ. Make sure about what foundation you are digging into, building your house upon. Be careful that your foundation will be found in the end to be one that has beautiful eternal reward. Choose to be counted among those who Paul the apostle spoke about in this verse, "Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."

I would think I am not alone in my thoughts I have regarding Thanksgiving 2020. After 11 months we have seen nothing but full blown heavy drama that sees no end in sight. Being thankful this year has a whole new meaning. To many they have a new lease on being thankful, while others are far from it. Bottom line, people are going along with it, but their hearts are not in it. The whole idea of thankfulness has only it's symbol of a cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, and apple pie. I think most people who are gathering together are doing so with heaviness.   A few nights ago I awoke thinking about Thanksgiving coming up, and what it really means to be thankful. I started to think about what I am truly thankful for. A flood of very bad memories, even the worse ones that made me wince, came flooding in. It was like watching a video of my whole life play out before my eyes. I said to the Lord, "Oh Lord, no, I don't want to remember that, or that!" Then I wished He would erase the worse ones away. Then I remembered that I had begged Him long ago during a three week onslaught of the absolutely worst vivid memories full of the deepest darkest pain. I cried out, "Lord please erase these memories from my mind!"   

I heard His voice deep within say to me, "If I were to erase them, then I would have to erase Myself." I understood what He meant. If I were to forget all the horrible things in my past, then I would have to forget every time He deliverd and rescued me. I understood that the giving of thanks is not an automaton response as the Children of God, but one born out of those who have received His great mercy in the hardest afflictions. In Psalm 66:11-12 it says, "Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place."  It is His mercy bestowed upon us that gives us thankful hearts to Him, and makes us "vessels of mercy prepared afore time unto glory."  "Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good, His mercy endureth forever." So it is clear, that our thanksgiving is in response to the receiving of His enduring mercies all the days of our lives. The Lord give you mercy and grace this Thanksgiving, and remember Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for you, which is the greatest gift of mercy this world can ever know. In heaven, we will never cease to give Him thanks forever and ever. We will cast our crowns before Him, the One who sits upon His mercy seat. "For mercy is built up in the heavens."

It is evidently clear that we are not going to see the light of a new day in America again. I know I am not alone in that statement. In fact, millions of Americans whether they are born again or not see the writing on the wall like neon lights. The reality is setting in fast as we blatantly see our entire nation going into the spin cycle. The sun is setting on this nation, and it is not rising again. That is the cold hard fact.   Another cold hard fact is there is nothing we can do to stop it. Multitudes of Christian's fasted, prayed, gathered together in masses to cry out to the Lord to stop it. However, it is going full steam ahead. There is going to be a big pill to swallow for them when they see that this nation is going to humbled. All eyes are on the government of this nation hoping for answers. 

All the same, the answers they are looking for did not happen. I am fully persuaded that this nation along with the entire world is going down hard under the mighty hand of God in judgement.   Nonetheless, there are thousands of born again, Spirit-filled believers that know we are at the very last seconds of the "end of this age." They are "in the world and not of it." They have continued with Jesus Christ through the thick and thin of their lives, and are conditioned to be under His command and ready. A solid life in Christ is what it is going to take to go through some heavy things coming on the horizon. Make sure to stay true to the great commission Jesus Christ has entrusted you with. The saints in the earth at this final epic time will be those who love Jesus Christ, and "will shine like the sun when he goeth forth in his strength." Just stick to reading your Bible, and pray without ceasing. Which increases you, making you razor sharp in the Spirit. A full bodied bravery will enter in. You will be as bold as a lion in the moment He calls you into action. "Remember Lot's wife."

There is no shadow of a doubt anymore that our nation is going down in flames. There is a very real economic reset coming, CV19 is now raging worse than before with no end in sight. The mother of all lockdowns is any day now. People are preparing for their own wars in various regions, and everyone else is caught in the middle. For the first time in our nation's history a record breaking number of people voted to the tune of 141 million. That is great sign of a nation in distress not of good times. It shows that people are desperate for leadership and answers to the hell descending upon us. It does not matter who is president at this point in time. This nation is in it's death throes, and nothing will ever go back to the days before, not ever.  I do not think anyone in this generation can prepare for what is coming, and prepping can only go so far. Lately there are two big questions echoing around the nation, which is, "What is next? and What are we supposed to do?" What people should be is what they should have been doing all along. It is the life they have been living in daily communion with Jesus Christ. And that does not mean religious acrobats. 

I am talking about a real life they have been living with Him in the day to day, and year after year. Even those who have not been doing so, it is not a hard thing to begin doing. In fact it is as simple as looking up to Him in prayer to Him wherever you are. You can begin talking to Him, and reaching out to Him in heartfelt searching prayer.  As soon as you do, He will immediately engage your heart and enter more fully into your life. It is about your heart, not about the external spiritual handsprings, and high performance religious action. So as you draw near to Jesus, then you will be prompted and led of Him. His Holy Spirit will teach you, and comfort you. The reading of His word will open up within you like well-springs of water, and the light of heaven will shine upon you.  A time is coming where your faith is going to be put to the test. Your believing on Him, and what He has written in His word will be your only foundation and source of truth that you can rely on. 

This world is scrambling for answers, direction, insight, and the latest breaking news stories, and endless tabloid-like YouTube Channels While your connection to Jesus must be your one and only most powerful connection that will never fail you. I do not say hide your head in the sand like an ostrich. You should know what is going on around you, which will give you wisdom in how to pray, and what to pray for. This nation is not going to save you or me.  Whoever is in office is not going to save anyone. Christ is our Savior, and while "He gives eternal life to as many who call upon His name," He is the One who saves those who are sick, hungry, afraid and in despair.  If He can save you from sin, death and hell, then He most certainly will preserve you in this world, and take you beautifully into the next one.  Finally, never ever lose the love of God in everything you do in His name. The love of God will empower all you will ever do to the merit of His wonderful name. His love makes you brave, courageous, and valiant even unto death, if need be. Keep His way, and do not depart from it. Do what the apostles did when they were sprung from prison, when the angel of the Lord told them, "Go, stand, and speak all the words of this life!" Bottom line, when you keep His way, Jesus will keep yours as "you hold out His word of life! Contact:

There is a big question in millions of hearts of Believers right now. "What's next?" Many Believers are either full of anger and wrath over the election results. While others are afraid of what is coming upon this land. There are many who do not know what to think anymore, and many now are lost in a spin cycle of other hot emotions and confusion. Their attention has been mostly all on the news and "what is happening next" moment by moment. The Believers revel over their favorite news sources that are guaranteeing victory. The unsaved are partying in the street toasting to their new president-elect.  Which has caused a back and forth volley of hot emotions, accusations, hatred vows of revenge and oaths of war.

There is a big line drawn down the middle of this nation. Our nation is called the United States, but right now there is nothing united about it. But there is another side that is being overlooked. That is the Lord's side. Caleb chose the Lord's side alongside Joshua. He warred alongside the Israelites in enemy territory in order to assist them in obtaining their land inheritance. From the beginning he openly proclaimed that he wholly followed the Lord from his heart to old age to Joshua when he asked him for the mountain to settle down in. He received his request and Mount Hebron became his inheritance in the royal portion of Judah. It is one thing to choose a man on earth to rule a nation, but it is far more crucial to choose "The Man Christ Jesus." 

What do you do next? IF you are a true born again Christian, nothing changes when everything around you does. You do what Jesus said, "He that would be My disciple must first deny himself, pick up his cross and follow Me." That is what you do, and it should be nothing short of what your whole walk with Christ has been all along. This nation and world will go as it is written in prophecy. Do not let what is going take a hold of you to the extent you are angry, losing sleep, combative an stressed out. If you are truly born again then "you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God." And since that is the truth, then you can be reassured of the immoveable life of Christ within you. Do what Caleb did for the rest of your life. He chose the Lord's side and wholly followed the Lord with all his heart. If you choose what he chose then his outcome will be your outcome. Your inheritance is eternally assured in Christ as well as your "incorruptible crown that fadeth not away."

 There has been such a build up of high emotions over two men vying for power over this nation. Never before in the history of this nation, has millions of people been set on edge. I would think the word carnage spells it out pretty well. Christians are praying and warfaring for the incumbent, while the unsaved of the nation are fighting for their man, and their own spiritual warfare through treachery and violence. There is a violence that has built up that is ready to break forth into a great civil war upon our land. What will happen if Trump is not re-elected? There will have to be an acceptance in the obvious that God allowed it, and to be at peace with His decision even if we do not understand. But I think it is not too hard to understand if you see where we are at in prophetic time. 

Then it becomes quite obvious why.  Many Christians do not believe that God would allow a wicked man to be set over them because God is good, merciful and full of love. However, a casual reading of the word would reveal that God's people beginning with the Israelites did have wicked kings rule over them. They mingled with the heathen nations, married their daughters, amalgamated their pagan religions into their religion. God warned them over and over through prophets over the space of hundreds, even thousands of years. Yet they still "hardened their hearts, and stiffened their necks, and turned away their shoulders."   Therefore, God sent them into captivity to be ruled by evil kings, wicked rulers and princes. God even said to them when they went into captivity under the harsh terrifying rule of King Nebuchadnezzar for 70 years, that they would be there "until they learned to obey Him." 

Did it ever occur to any of us that Biden who looks like he might be our next president will play a direct part of the judgement of this nation? It just may be so. God does not always give His people what they want though it sounds good. But He is also known for giving His people what they need for their good.   If this man Biden gets into office, then perhaps we should look at it as God giving us new orders, and new charges for service in these last closing seconds of this church age. I have a feeling that God will use it to push His people into Him in collective potent prayers like never before for this last time. To redirect their attention to Himself and away from carnal governments, and for His Kingdom to come. I believe new orders and new charges are coming for us. Pay attention and be ready to receive and obey them. Soldier up!

For two thousand years the knowledge of the return of the Lord has been the central hope of every generation. Yet they are now gone and we remain. The first century churches were alive with that hope. In fact, the greeting between the Jews was always Shalom. But when the gospel was preached to the Greeks, the greeting "shalom" no longer worked. The term "Maranatha" then was the common greeting between them. Maranatha has duel meaning. That Jesus came, and that He is coming again. This term was said in the coming and going of their lives. But not now. You would think that after over two thousand years we would be shouting Maranatha to one another. Instead it is now only a Christian marketing word to sell more t-shirts, stickers, caps and poster art.   The indictment stands clear. The reason that term is no longer being used  is because no one believes it anymore. If they do, they do not believe it in their hearts.

They "have heard of it with the hearing of the ears but their hearts are far from it." Rather it should be that their hearts are far from Jesus. They are fighting for "a nation that cannot save them." Where is your heart today? Do you believe that Jesus is about to show up at anytime? There is a powerful flow through the saints of God all over the world right now that are dreaming dreams of saying goodbye to friends and loved ones in dreams. They are dreaming of running outside being compelled to look up into the sky with the thrill of great joyful anticipation. Jesus is coming back, and it is clear that it will happen on a day like any other day, when people least expect it.   We are soon going to hear "the sound of the last trump," and we will enter into heaven. Even if you do not believe in the rapture, it is okay. We are brothers and sisters still. This life is short, and the one to come will be "world without end." What you do here will meet you there in heaven at the Bema Seat of Jesus Christ. I believe there is a very short window and what we do with our time here now is the most critical of any surviving generation that will usher in the end of the church age. Do not set your heart on things here, but in heaven where you will spend throughout the age of ages. Be ready. Those that are ready are those that are watching, If you are not watching you are not ready. Now is a good time to be ready, and be watchful, you will not be disappointed at His coming.
