It is evident that there is a religious machine that has the appearance that the gospel is alive, but is dead. The reality is it has become something no one really cares about anymore. That is what a woman from Alaska wrote to me regarding the once rich fertile soils of the natives there when the gospel was preached long ago. Now many decades later, the offspring of the elders that might show up in church that are very few are dead to the gospel.  This nation and several others have been over gospelized to the point that people are not interested in it anymore. They have created other versions and other angles of it, and emptied it of it's purity and power to save. I remember when the 44th president was in office for two consecutive terms, prayer was being echoed from earth into heaven "with loud shots and crying unto Him that was able to save us from death." But not now. Now there is heavy prayer emphasis on a man to save this nation. The only real salvation that matters is souls. Imagine if we prayed like that for those that are lost in our own families. Four more years is not going to matter, and whoever gets into office, it still will not matter. Like the Church of Ephesus who thought they were on the up and up with "their works, labor and patience." 

That they had an appearance of religious piety of "not being able to bear then which are evil." Basically, love was no longer the power behind the gospel. They became "holier than thou." Yet the Lord whose eyes are a flame of fire saw right through all those works, and basically said the same thing to the Ephesian church as He did to Adam, "Adam were are you!? Jesus told them that He had "somewhat against them, because they left their first love." His command was that they stop the dead works, and instead remember from where they fell and repent to Him. He gave them a choice. If they did not He would come quickly and would remove the candlestick from them. Which He actually did. And as the Laodicean church corresponds to this last days church, I happen to hear nothing about the candlestick being here and burning bright. In fact, I do not read anywhere else that there is an candlestick that made it to our day. God did not make an everlasting covenant with America. Only Israel. The only covenant He has made is with the lost humanity through the Blood of the New Covenant. Let us remember that we are now those who have the light of heaven within us, and all heaven is at our disposal for everything we need while we are here. Do not fear what the lost fear. That great light that is in you is now going to be the ONLY light that is going to shine in this nation that has now been plunged into a great darkness. The Candlestick is in YOU!

Do you ever feel like this world is closing in on you with stress, fear, hopelessness and pressure? In these tight places, we find that the horizontal view is not the direction our souls look to for strength and fortitude anymore. We have this knowing deep within to look heavenward. I really believe that when God created mankind He did so with the added feature of the spiritual reflex of looking upwards. The spirit of man looks up because whether people know Jesus or not, the looking up indicates that there is something more. Something otherworldly, and a Someone far greater than themselves or any human.   In the Bible, remarkable things occurred on mountain tops. Remember how God revealed Himself to Moses. Remember how Noah landed on a mountain top after the flood. Remember how Elijah challenged the false prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount, which were the Beatitudes. Faith is spoken in relation to a great mountain. Or not being afraid when the Psalmist says, "God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried in the midst of the sea.." God's eternal dwelling place is "on the sides of the north, Mt. Zion the city of the great King," in heaven. When we see the mountains, they speak to us of God's immoveable, mighty love for us. His eternal nature in great powerful, majestic display. If you are feeling weary, worn down and afraid, you really do not need to drive to the mountains to meet the Lord. You can do what David did when he said, " I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

Today Jeanie Moore from "Hear The Watchmen" is on to share with everyone what the upcoming event in Irvine California is all about. What first began as an event they typically planned turned out to be not what the Lord had in mind. The Lord met Jeanie on a walk and spoke to her these words, "Reset, Rebound and Renew."  Three times she heard that and knew that Jesus wanted something else. Her and her husband met with each other and knew that they wanted to follow what the Lord wanted. Which is something they had never done before since 2016 when they first began. That is hold a worship, restoration and a revival event. Though in every event they have had, they always hold a night of prayer and worship. When they canceled the original plan, then the Lord began to build the new one. It all came together and a great excitement and joy exploded. The purpose that God had shown them was that He wants His people who are weary, worn out, in bondage, wounded and controlled by strongholds to be released. This is not a planned power point event. On the contrary, this is an event that Jesus Christ will have full movement towards everyone who attends, it is all about Jesus, prayer, worship, deliverance, and even a baptism on Sunday. it is going to be a powerful time and we are beyond excited! The whole work of the Cross is summed up in one word. Freedom. The entire world screams for it day and night since the fall of man. The search for freedom is a ruthless march of humanity because of the slavery of sin. There was no way out except through death. But the fear of death kept people in bondage to sin in attempts to obtain spiritual freedom. When Jesus Christ died on the Cross for us, paying our sin debt in full, then rising again in the resurrection, eternal life was now offered freely to anyone.   Even still millions of Believers are in slavery. Outwardly they seek for that freedom they had hoped to receive from placing their faith and trust in Jesus. They then set out for a new march of slavery to obtain freedom in outward spiritual ways. They join churches, bible study groups, prayer groups. They listen to endless messages and sermons, but yet they are on their spiritual death beds. They never realize or know that their freedom has nothing to do with their circumstances or endless spiritual information. I am talking about internal spiritual freedom. Great discouragement is the norm with the Christian masses. Yes, there are many who have devastated lives, and great losses, woundedness, pain and long weary years of sorrows. Many of these spend their lives in this way, but they have an internal "hiding place" in Jesus Christ they dwell in.

This is not about a feeling, it is about a great power from within. The freedom in the Spirit is nothing like the outward earthly freedom we know.  Men like Daniel and the three men with him, along with Joseph were all slaves. They were ripped away from their homes, families, and nation, into heathen nations. Yet they refused to bow to foreign gods. They were free within. This freedom gave them great unflinching, resolute power. They were free. Martyrs, though they were thrown into fires, eaten by ravenous lions, torn apart and tortured, were free within. And they endured because of that heavenly potent, power of freedom.   At the last supper after the disciples and Jesus ate, it says that Jesus "knowing where He had come from and where He was going, arose, laid aside his garments, and girded a towel around His waist. He knelt down, and washed the feet of His disciples." That struck me because when we lose our sense of direction we become discouraged. But when we remember where we have come from and where we are going, the freedom comes bursting in, along with pure joy. We do not hang on what is going to happen, or why things did not happen. it does not matter. We serve Jesus for one reason. Gratitude. Not to pay back but because He bought us. This is the pure freedom of happy service for your entire life and you also will lay aside your garments and wear the towel all the days of your life with pure freedom and joy in service.

I have been feeling intensely restless lately. There is something happening within me, and I know I am not alone. We are not like any other people since time began, as we are those alive at the end of the church age. We have the whole picture written in the word and know exactly where we are in time. We are living witnesses as we watch prophecy unfolding at rapid speed. Yet, there is a spiritual deadness that could be felt in the atmosphere over the entire nation, though there are many believers living in it. Yet in other persecuted nations the Believers are all potent, on fire, and fearless. It feels like we are living in the "fatted calf" nation getting ready for the slaughter. The truth is, this nation is going to the slaughter while the entire church at large is in a deep sleep. Nothing seems to phase them. They put more stock in politics to the extent they will march, scream, fight and wage war for it. But there are some that are known by God scattered all over the world. They are the faithful "living stones" that are in hard pressed areas of the world including our nation.   

The common denominator is they have a potency in prayer because they "have chosen the thing that is good." Like Moses, "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible." The visible church is asleep, but there is the real body of Christ that is wide awake, alive, and ready for action. They are waxing bolder and stronger, as they "see the day approaching." What this world is fearing, they are not fearing because they are fearless and well trained. Their hearts are beating hard in them for the Lord. They are "called, chosen and faithful" and Jesus knows who they are.   There is something far greater that is wrong than politics and economics, or a bankrupt dollar. There is no way we can turn this nation around now. There is a time coming very soon when armies and governments are not going to work at all anymore. We are always trying to bail God out through elected officials, instead of us looking to God to bail us out through Jesus Christ. Bottom line, this nation is going down like a sinking ship. What God did in the past with great men and women of God, I fully believe HE WILL do the same kind of powerful exploits in our generation fit for this last time.  But only through those who actually believe He will, and in those who have chosen to "endure as seeing Him who is invisible."

Over the last several decades of post modern Christianity, the American church has developed a gilded eye for religious celebrity. The glitter of big stage, bright lights and fame became the convincing factor that they held  special anointing and truth. The people mistook the wealth, fame and fortune for God's blessings intended for all people. However, after all these decades the same millions that flocked to buy celebrity preachers book, and  attend their conferences, were never endued with extra power from on high. The promises of greater power and fruitfulness proved an epic failure and the demise of the seekers.  God is not interested in celebrity, but in people that have dwelt in the outer-darkness, so to speak, of society. Jesus said "to the poor the gospel is preached." He also said, "the poor ye have with you always." So much damage and wasted time was the only outcome of how-to books, how-to prophesy, how-to be an intercessor, how-to pull down powers and principalities, even how-to be rich. I remember reading those books and begging God for more anointing, more power, more authority, more empowerment of gifts, all the while the spiritually hungry and thirsty were perishing around me. And I wound up spiritually broke, thirsty and hungry.

A day came that I threw away all those worthless books, and stuck to the word of God. The beautiful Bible I hold in my hands every day, and pour over, and drink from richly. The "lamp unto my feet and the light unto my path" that is leading me home to heaven. We are nothing more than each of us a blade of grass that the Holy Spirit blows upon. The little blades of grass are the lowest thing that grow upon the earth, but that is what gets all the heat and light of the sun, and where the flowers grow. These little blades of grass are the poor all around us. The time of looking to religious celebrity is over and irrelevant. Today is the day God means for all of us to run our race, full and strong, and with great joy. No matter where we are at in life, RUN! Do in it in faithful prayer, fixing your eyes on the Lord and no one else ever again. The King of Saints, the One who shed his precious Blood for your costly soul. You will only "shine like the sun in the Kingdom of our Father."

Recently there was a big national repentance event at this nations capitol. Tens of thousands showed up to repent of the grievous sins on behalf of this nation. Men blew shofars, celebrity ministers and worship bands led the rally. When I watched it I sensed nothing. Since then things have gotten exponentially worse. The way things look right now, it is past that time, though it was a sincere attempt. But is this what we are driven to? Organized repentance rallies? There is something that has been lost. It's like trying to patch up a sinking boat while it already halfway under water.

In Iran, China, Afghanistan, South America, and other nations the gospel is powerfully moving, but not here. We think that if we band together last minute, purchase plane tickets to the government capitol, THEN God will hear us. Yet in other countries that are in the underground churches, God is moving in everyone's lives in significant power while living in poverty and heavy persecution. Revealing Himself to them in powerful ways, in dreams and visions. This is happening through a method of sharing the gospel that is nothing this world has EVER seen. My big question is to the Lord Himself. HOW do WE do it here? The "Christian" churches are steeped in seminary studies, and certifications in order to be qualified to preach the gospel. People are ingrained to believe that if the word is not preached by anyone who does not hold a piece of qualifying degrees, then they are unqualified. But that is NOT how the Lord wanted it. Now the entire nation is full of multi- generations of Christians who should have been sharing the gospel with their lives and have not. Way to much has been lost!  The model of the church is one man stands at a podium while everyone listens to a sermon that lasts an hour or more once a week.

This has only caused the body of Christ to be weakened over a long period of time. What is coming upon this nation is going to require a firm footing in solitary, tried faith in the person of Jesus Christ, and not in a last minute repentance rally. I cannot help but look at those nations where Jesus is richly and powerfully pouring out His power, and wonder now what my personal responsibility is and will be like. Because it did something in me, and  now I cannot, and will not go back to the way I saw and did things before. And I think that is exactly what He wants. I am ready to follow Jesus wherever He goes and do whatever He wants like a little child. But I will never return to that failed system of doing things. I declare plainly that I seek a better country, and God has gone to prepare it for me and for you.

Jamie elaborates on the greatest safety and protection we have in the Lord. The irrefutable reliability of His word and iron clad promise to perform it in you. To give up yourself entirely to Jesus, and live the beautiful surrendered life in the great and coming King especially now.

When I think of the beggar Lazarus who sat at the rich man's gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs that fell from his table, I see the post modern church. That beggar was so hungry, he could only dream of a couple of flakes of bread to fall into his dirty hands, and savor the morsels. There is a great spiritual hunger in our land, and millions go from table to table trying to eat scraps. But there is nothing consistent. There is no shortage of spiritual junk food. There seems to be no satiating, soul nourishing sustenance that keeps the saints at one table. The table of the Lord. "For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." So clearly we see there can be only one table.  If we do not have the proper spiritual Bread then how can the Holy Spirit bear witness within us. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

How are we to be those who bear witness of the truth if after we have received it, to afterward go from table to table. We ultimately are going to sit at the table of Jesus in His eternal Kingdom, so we need to take a good look at whose table we have a habit of eating at now. The eternal cost is too great to spend at the table of another though the food tastes good, and appealing to the eye. "Stolen waters are sweet and bread eaten in secret is pleasant, But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell."   As there is "One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all," there is only ONE truth the Holy Spirit will bear witness of and nobody else, and nothing else. Right now it is very tempting to enter into the broad path through cheap, costless means. But the narrow road is for them that find it, and remain on it. These always sit at the table of the Lord and never consider it contemptible, but a privilege and high honor, and would never think of eating anywhere else.

Jesus told His disciples, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and THEN shall the end come." Never before has that word stood out to me like a mountain peak in prophecy. There is clearly a cut off point where the Lord says it is done, or else He would not have said "then" cometh the end. The word "then" signifies a cut off point like a commencement announcement. My belief is the gospel of the kingdom HAS been preached throughout the whole world and it is the end, and this is the "then." Of course there are going to be people who will not have heard the gospel preached to them. In fact through the entire seven year tribulation, the gospel will be preached. It will then pick up again through out the one thousand year Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ. 

However I am talking about a measure being filled up, where I believe we are at.  The gospel that has been preached for hundreds of years has become so polluted, and up for grabs to anyone who feels they have a better handle on it. Teaching it with newer, and better insights than others, only to have done radical damage to it. "Gathering together teachers having itching ears." Right now, there are over 300,000 Protestant churches in America. Just do the division (300,000 divided by 50 states) and that's an average of 6,000 churches per state. Who has the truth? Are we any better than when this nation first started? The gospel being preached to all nations, has worn thin in our nation. It has been grossly altered, twisted, polluted, watered down and homogenized to the point it has largely become dead. Hearts being calloused to it.  Now I say the TRUE gospel is not dead, because God "keepeth truth forever." 

What I am getting at, is seemingly clear to me that the gospel has now been preached though out the whole world, and it is no doubt the end. So what does that mean for the gospel? The gospel must be preached no matter what by true Believers because it is eternally alive. Main stream churches are mostly dead and stand only as a religious system now. What the Lord had in mind is that we go and do it. One of the greatest lies is "big church." The expensive lighting, sound systems, and programs give creedence to their having the real truth. To the American Christian, more means they are the ones who have the truth.  But it is the poor the gospel is preached to, and it is the poor who go out and preach it. True evangelism is one poor man showing another poor man where to find Bread.  I don't believe Jesus had it in mind that only one man should do it all, and a select group. YOU are a direct part of the commission.  

And that does not mean creating a ministry, we have enough of them. You have a life! Use your life right where you are, and that is how the gospel is preached to the poor. One person at a time to another person. The gospel is alive and will do all the work by virtue of the Holy Spirit. Let go of the news drama of impending doom, banking catastrophe's, deadly viruses on the horizon, civil wars breaking out. Look up, "For your redemption draweth nigh" and Jesus is at the door.  "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because because the days are evil." Let only the power of the gospel be your anchor from now on  It is what will guarantee an immoveable firm foundation, and solid safety to the end. Hold fast to what will abide forever..."World without end."  Hold fast to what will abide forever..."World without end."
