The Joe & Joe Weather Show is LIVE 7:30pm Major Hurricane Fiona 130 mph winds, category 4 hurricane is nearing Bermuda tonight. The core of the hurricane will pass just to the northwest of Bermda tonight. Hurricane Watches posted for Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and much of Atlantic Canada as Fiona heads to Eastern Nova Scotia Friday night into Saturday morning. A cold front is moving through the the Northeast is passing offshore with very cool Autumn air behind the front. That will move into the East Friday and Saturday with dry weather and below average temperatures. A strong tropical wave is appoaching the Eastern Caribbean. This system has a very high chance of becoming a tropical depression or a tropical storm in the coming days. We will look at the long range implications of this system as it heads to the west northwest.
