Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Thursday April 22, 2021 A very cold day in the Northeast with temperatures in the 40s along with gusty winds and occasional snow showers. Freeze Warnings Mid Atlantic States, Central Appalachians Friday morning. Severe weather will develop across the Gulf States Friday and reaching the Southeast US Saturday as a storm develops in the Southern Plains. That storm will bring rain to the Mid Atantic and Northeast later Saturday into Sunday.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Wednesday April 21, 2021 A cold front has moved through the East and it is bringing in very cold air. Freeze Warnings cover much of the East and Midwest along with areas in the South. Severe weather will be revving up late week and into the weekend as a storm moves out of Texas and heads for the East Coast. Next week the long range could leave the Eastern US in a bit of a sweet spot in between a blocking low to the east and storminess in the Plains where severe weather will be an issue.

Snow from Ohio to Western NY and Northern New England. Very cold air is spreading across the Plains and Midwest with freeze warnings from Texas to the Great Lakes.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Sunday April 15, 2021 The storm off the coast of New England continues to move slowly east allowing for some improvement . A warm up is coming for the next few days before another cold front arrives Wednesday with showers and the chance for thunderstorms. Severe weather risks today are confined to Central Florida and that will be the case for the next few days. Winter continues in parts of the Northern Rockies and Western Plains with Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings posted in parts of Wyoming, Montana, and small portions of Western South Dakota and Nebraska.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Thursday April 15, 2021 A storm developing off the Delaware coast is producing rain in the Northeast. That rain changes to snow in New England tonight with wet snow accumulations of 6 inches ore more likely especially in elevations above 1500 feet. Rain ends in Southern New England to Northern New Jersey and Long Island. Severe weather tonight in parts of East Texas and the Gulf Coast. Snow is likely in the Central Rockies with up to a foot in the higher peaks.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Tuesday April 13, 2021 A reprieve in the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states today as some sunshine returned but another storm now over the Western Great Lakes will redevelop off the New Jersey coast Thursday bringing a cold rain to the coastal Northeast and the potential for accumulating wet snow from Northeast PA to Western New England in higher elevations. Severe weather is a threat for portions of Louisiana and East Texas tonight.  Snow is in the forecast for the Central and Northern Rockies for the next couple of days as another storm takes shape there.

Severe weather risks tonight across parts of Texas and the Southern Plains. More winter weather is likley in parts of the Western US. Another storm system over the Great Lakes will bring more clouds and rain to the Norhteast and Northern Mid Atlantic late Wednesday through Friday.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Monday April 5, 2021 The blocking pattern in the Atlantic has left most of the Northeast in a sweet spot of sunshine and dry weather. The exception is Eastern New England where clouds from an ocean storm have backed westward.  The weather today across the US was mostly on the quiet side but we will see risks for severe weather grow across parts of the Central Plains and the South midweek. No rain of consequence is forecast for the East until late week or the weekend.
