Joe  & Joe Weather Show Tuesday March 30. 2021 A beautiful day in the Eastern US but changes are coming. Low pressure and a cold front will bring rain to the Mid Atlantic and Northeast. Severe weather is possible in the Southeast US. Rain changes to snow Central Appalachians to Northwest New England Wednesday night into Thursday. Winter Storm Watches are posted for much of Upstate NY. Flash Flood Watches for the Tennessee Valley and parts of the Deep South. Wnds are still gusty and strong in the Northern Plains.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show Monday March 29. 2021 the wind machine is finally being turned off tonight across the Northeast as a storm to the east finally moves away and the gradient relaxes. It was a nice weather day across much of the US east of the Rockies. HIgh Wind Warnings are up for much of the Western and Northern Plains and Northern Rockies thanks to a strong storm in West Central Canada. No severe weather is forecast today but risk returns Tuesday in the Lower Mississippi Valley and in the Southeast US Wednesday. A storm develops in the East and that will bring rain later Wednesday into Thursday along the coast. In elevated areas inland from the Central Appalachains to New England, a heavy wet snow is possible.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show Sunday March 28. 2021 It is another day of severe weather risk from Southern New England to Georgia with an enhanced risk in Southeastern Virginia. Showers and thunderstorms are moving through the areas into this afternoon as low pressure moves into New England and cold front moves off the East Coast. Winds will strengthen in the Northeast toninght into Monday and Wind Advisories are posted. Flash flooding continues in parts of the Tennessee Valley. Strong winds in the Northern Rockies into the Northwest.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show Thursday March 25. 2021 High risk for severe weather continues across the Deep South as low pressure heads northeast to the Eastern Great Lakes. Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes likely this evening Central Gulf States to the lower Ohio Valley. In the Western US we are seeing winter still going on with snow in the Rockies. Some showers later tonight in the Northeast as a cold front passes. Wind Advisories Friday across the Midwest and Northeast for strong winds. Another severe weather outbreak is likely over the weekend over parts of the Middle Mississippi and the Ohio Valley as well as North Carolina.

Across the Southern Plains we have severe weather risks tonight and a widespread severe weather outbreak is possible Thursday in the Deep South. This is the same area that got hit hard a week ago.

Clouds further south into the Carolinas with showers offshore as low pressure churns there. To the west a front in the Middle Mississippi Valley is producing showers and thunderstorms to the east in the Ohio, Tennessee Valley and the Central Gulf states . Severe weather risks increase across the south Thursday. Winter continues in the Western US with more snow in the Rockies.

A moderate risk for severe weather is forecast for the Central Gulf States with a 15% chance for tornadoes. In the Northeast chilly conditions with scattered precipitation tonight. Rain is forecast Thursday as a storm system heads across the lower Ohio Valley. We could see a change to snow Thursday night in the Northeast away from the coast.

A weak low survives and brings clouds and some rain or snow showers over parts of the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic. Meanwhile severe weather risk grows across the South over the next few days and a widespread severe weather outbreak is possible Wednesday. Low pressure heads across the Ohio Valley to the Mid Atlantic states Thursday into Friday morning with a cold rain and some snow on the northern edge of the precipitation shield.
